A gem of a local chocolate shop here in Denver. Right on Tennyson street and easy to pop in. They make everything by hand and with so much love. The truffles are incredible as well the fudge - flavorful, rich, not too sweet. They also carry lots of "made in Colorado items" which make great gifts.
For starters, the chocolate here is definitely amazing. There is no doubt there, but what I appreciated most was how personable & kind the staff was. As an out of towner, that really made all of the difference. I left w/ great chocolate & some excellent recommendations on things to do in Denver.
How cute is this! The first thing that hit me is the dark chocolate covered orange peels. They are so hard to find. Not the orange jelly stuff. So many cute gifts here. So much chocolate and fudge. A lot of it is made in the shop.
Like a warm hug. We live in the neighborhood and visiting Roberta's is a special treat for my daughters. I was on a work call yesterday so scooted my girls in with my credit card to get themselves a treat. The owners daughter was working and showed them so much warm kindness. They couldn't stop gushing about her the whole way home and how kind she was to them. In this season of hustle and grind for me; I'm so deeply grateful for warm acts of kindness, the simple reminder that there is so much good in the world, and for modeling kind and familial customer service for my children.
Roberta is just the best, was patient and friendly as we sampled some fudge. We bought 4 squares and received 2 free. We shared a few laughs, stories and memories. We will definitely come to her shop when we come to town.
Very nice family owned store. Homemade chocolates and fudge are sooo good! They also have other old school candy and sodas as well as local honey/jam products.
Came here for fudge and OMG I’ll never buy fudge anywhere else. So many varieties and they all taste amazing! Last time I came in, I bought 3 pounds The butterfinger and raspberry chocolate are my favorites.
Can’t wait to return! The fudge is out of this world delicious. We loved the maple nut and tiger butter. The owners were awesome, too!
The store is small but packed with lots of items, not just chocolates. They have fudge and truffles made there. This was my first time going and the sales associate who helped me was very nice. I got some fudge shown in the photo - caramel cheesecake, mexican hot chocolate my favorite, dark chocolate w nuts, tiger butter, salted caramel and maple. All very very good but the mexican hot chocolate flavor was so perfect. Just the right amount of spice. Will go back again!
Friendly service. Great selection of treats. I highly recommend stopping by for an edible souvenir for your family. We brought some Rocky Mountain popcorn and chocolates. Also, support small businesses and local shops!!
