Robinson Nature Center

"Robinson Nature Center is a unique nature education facility with interactive exhibits, native plant gardens, wooded trails with views of the Middle Patuxent River, a children's Discovery Room, an outdoor Nature Place and a planetarium. Annually, the Center offers hundreds of public programs, as well as special events, field trips, birthday parties and scout programs. The facility, itself, is a LEED platinum green building.Opened in September 2011, the Center was made possible by the generosity of James & Anne Robinson. Our mission is to bridge the gap between people and nature and facilitate the enjoyment and understanding of natural resources. The Center is owned and operated by Howard County's Department of Recreation & Parks."
