This is a wonderful historic theater, but because it is historic it does have old wooden seats which you may not find comfortable... But most people usually find that it is worth it in the end, because they put on great shows!

I love that we have a local Opera House. I've enjoyed both productions so far that I've taken my family to this holiday season. Wonderful talent! As for the seating I was really uncomfortable. They really need to update the seats. For it being December it's very cold out and I understand the actors probably like the cool air with moving around a lot but it felt like the AC was turned on. I needed to wear my jacket. Overall it's a great place to take friends and family to. Depending on the production the prices for tickets are reasonable. You know they put a lot of love and time into these performances.

We saw a musical production of "Gilligan's Island". It was amazing! Cast was very professional in all aspects. The costumes were phenomenal. Refreshments were available. Prices incredible, senior citizen discount..

We saw the musical Happy Days . It was fantastic !! We had a great time I would recommend it to anybody to go and see something at the Rochester Opera House !!
