Best sushi in Metairie. Tried others but this is tops. Garlic salmon roll was the hit. Also, red dragon roll. Yellowtail roll was a top 5. Ramen was average. Service was steady and friendly. Be ready..."if it's too loud, you're too old" phrase applies here as trendy music plays all night.
Amazballs! This is so much more than sushi and sashimi, this is a dining experience. Each dish had so many flavor profile, we could not stop commenting to each other about them. Everything is so fresh and you can tell in the taste. This is on a whole other level for eating out. Wow!
Good service but I have NEVER in my life waited an hour and fifteen minutes for raw fish. They were more worried about to-go orders than the actual patrons in the restaurant. Already decided we won’t be back for one good roll and one decent roll. Parking: Small lot prepare to park on side street
Best sushi in the Metairie/New Orleans area! Always fresh, great ambiance and amazing cocktails. The sushi king cake is also a must-try during Mardi Gras season!
First time diners at this location and we really enjoyed it! We went on a Wednesday around 6pm and first thing we noticed were the cars overflowed onto an open lot next door. Seated at the sushi bar prefer and the chef was funny and lively, which matched the ambience and music of the place. Our waitress Tori was so sweet and very attentive! The food was fresh and flavorful and not too bad of a wait, nor was it too crowded. I do agree the price point for the size of the roll is a bit high, but you're paying for the experience as well as the food. Wouldn't be a weekly spot, but definitely a great switch up from your regular hum drum dining spot. The garlic salmon roll was rich and flavorful, scallops seasoned very well, and the tempura ice cream was magical!
Very happy at the fact that this place stays open till 11pm. The waitress was very nice and attentive! The calamari was very tastey and good, would definitely order again, something I order at any and every restaurant that sells it. I took 1 star away cuz I spent $80 on sushi, something I've never thought i could do yes it was 2 of us but never before have I even come close to that amount. The sushi did taste good but was not anything extravagant for me to say it was worth $80. And the dessert, I didn't know at all what it was but wanted to taste something new, I was left very disappointed with the presentation and the flavor it being some sort of seaweed wrapped icecream.
We’ve been coming here for years, and the cuisine is never short of exquisite. The vibe is great, the service is wonderful. We just can’t ever get enough.
We had to evacuate from lake charles due to hurricane Laura and I was please to find out the food here was soooo good! I can't wait to return back!
Great atmosphere and service. Unfortunately my steak was very overcooked and dry, but luckily my server, Josh, noticed the food and my displeasure without needing to even say anything. He took care of it for me and was very apologetic. Everyone at my party enjoyed their sushi and drinks otherwise. I'm sure I will be back and try to get that 5th star on a new steak. :
I love the variety of apps and the sushi is always super fresh. The vibe is definitely reflective of their sister locations. I wish they were open for more lunch options! I would be here daily. My favorite dish is the wonton soup not pictured - the broth is so spicy, the best I've had yet!
