Update: Unfortunately this update is not a good one. After leaving my review on 5-31-2024 I received a call from Sean on 6-3-2024 saying he attempted to call us multiple times. Below are images of no such record. I asked my husband to call him back and Sean brought up how he had repaired the concentrator. We hadn't come to that agreement yet, as we had asked for a price point on the repair. He claimed that in order to see what was wrong with it he would need to put new parts in. As we had no idea what this cost would be nor that this was the process we would have just come to get my mothers unit back. None of this was explained, and as you can see below in the other pictures, there was NO communication from him for 11 days, even with my reaching out to him. Sean had said he can just remove the parts and just give the unit back, but as soon as my husband tried to get him to go ahead and remove the new parts and he would not. We would not have suggested a parts removal had Sean not brought it up as it would not have been fair to him as the work had been done. We were trying to find a way to resolve this with the best way possible as the repair was not authorized yet. The call between Sean and my husband ended with Sean saying my husband is a piece of work and that he will be throwing my mothers medical equipment in the trash before hanging up on my husband. Normally I wouldn't care about this, but it is my mothers medical equipment that we do own, and he is now claiming he will be throwing it away, even though we have tried to resolve this amicably. The communication from Sean has been horrendous and as I stated in my original post. I would not recommend using this company. Original post: Sad to say that I have been bamboozled by Sean. I left my mothers concentrator with him on the 7th of May. With Sean saying he would look at it and see if it was worth fixing. I have sent several emails to him since asking about the concentrator we left with him. He asked for the phone number left with the unit and have heard nothing since. It has been 11 days more since the last email I have received from Sean and still no word from him. At this point I feel as though my mothers medical equipment has been stolen as he has not returned any communication. Beware if you decide to go with this company. I would not recommend.
Sean is great at what he does. His customer service is stellar. I live up in the mountains and really need my concertador to sleep, so I can’t just drop it off and come pick it up the next day or in a few days, since a trip to Denver requires a lot of time. He has been very accommodating with my need for urgency. And considering his capability, the cost is well worth it.
I bought an oxygen concentrator from Sean for cash. It was a hassle initially trying to reach him. When I needed it serviced about a year ago I never could reach him. I’ve given up trying. It’s so stressful trying to bring him business. He’ lives about 10 miles away so I don’t want to just drive to his house and hope he’s home. Since he was recommended by my Sleep Doc, I assume he does good work, but if you can’t reach hime & he doesn’t return phone calls, he obviously has horrible Customer Relations. I can’t recommend him!!
Very helpful! We were traveling from out of town and my husband had a medical event which required oxygen to travel home on the airplane. I had such a hard time finding a portable oxygen concentrator anywhere, but one of the companies highly recommended Shawn. I contacted him and he was able to get me one on the same day. Very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend!
Sean is very knowledgeable and has expertly fixed 2 of my machines. His accessory prices are inflated but I get he needs to make some money too. I will continue to use him. My one wish is he would write estimate down and both have a copy. Last night when I called about my machine he told me $210.00 to pick it up. When I arrived it changed to $310.00. I didn't say anything because how can I prove it? He's great at what he does for sure.
INFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL. We saw this business in a Google search. We almost didn't go because of a negative review. GLAD WE WENT. Sean, owner, has been in the oxygen business for 20+ years. He showed us a range of equipment [we purchased a refurbished unit for $745] and said he is also available for repairs at a rate of $75 / hour. GOOD FIND - glad we checked this out
Sean is the best! He listen to what you need and then gives the best service he has to offer, we need more people like him. Thank you and I will definitely be doing all of business with him.
SEAN GUILLEN of Rocky Mountain Oxygen is very UNRELIABLE. Never returned my phone calls had to work with him via email. I was coming in from Fl and needed an concentrator for 2 weeks. Starting Aug.28th. Thought I was all set until I went to pick it up. I had informed him that my son got out of work at 3pm so he would be able to pick up anytime after that and to please let me know what time he should be there. Sean's rerply was, and I quote "sounds good. Thank you." We arrived at his house for pickup at 3:30. No one was home. He answered via his "ring" that he left at 3p,m to come back tomorrow..WHAT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS.HE WONT GET MINE AGAIN
I was referred to Rocky Mountain Oxygen Repair by a friend of mine. I was impressed to see the organization and detail displayed by Sean, it's very evident that he takes pride in his business. I now use Sean exclusively due to his knowledge and expertise. I know that my equipment will be repaired on time, and that it will be done right.
Sean repaired and serviced my oxygen concentrator within 24 hours. The repair cost was very reasonable. A new machine would have cost us dearly. The machine runs like new. Marvelous to find this service available in the metro Denver area. .
