I have greatly appreciated the care I have received at Rocky Mountain Women's Care. Dr. Breeden took care of me and my baby during my third pregnancy. He supported my plans for another VBAC and took time to answer my questions. His bedside manner is impeccable, and he has a very calm demeanor. I never once doubted that I was in great hands with him. I've also seen Dr. Amos more recently for general OB follow-ups and concerns, and she has been incredibly kind, compassionate, and attentive. Overall, this is a fantastic practice.
I've moved a lot over the last few years and finding a doctor, especially a gynecologist, that I like and feel comfortable with can be a chore. I stumbled upon RMWC and was hesitant about going since the office is in the city and inside St. Luke's. But I saw how highly rated the doctors were and set up an appointment. Dr. Amos was the absolute best and her presence and character immediately made me feel comfortable. She took the time to get to know me and listened to what I had to say. I will definitely be back next year!
I was a high risk patient and this pregnancy was going to be my fourth c-section and I was beyond terrified as this was all unplanned. From the moment I started seeing Dr. Forschner he was hands down the best OB doctor I have ever had! He had the knowledge, compassion, and expertise! I had a wonderful no complications delivery at PSL and have not one complaint!
I only have wonderful things to say about Rocky Mountain Women’s Clinic! Specifically, Mindy has been amazing. I was having an issue with another specialty clinic and did not know what to do. When I called RMWC, Mindy was not only extremely helpful, kind and patient, but she went out of her way to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment AND helped get my records to the right people! Also, Dr. Amos has been wonderful. I would highly recommend them!
I will be forever grateful for Dr. Forschner. I had seen him for years for abnormal cells but unfortunately had to switch doctors due to insurance. I was pregnant and went to Kaiser Permanente and had a horrible experience during every OBGYN appointment and ended up having a missed miscarriage that was found by ultrasound at my 12 week appointment. I had the most traumatic experience of my life at Kaiser. I got no guidance, no professionalism, no compassion, the doctor just came in, 3 minutes after telling us the baby didn’t have an heartbeat, and had me sign consent forms and said I needed a D&C she then followed that by saying she wouldn’t be the one performing the surgery. She then left me and my partner alone and we were forced to walk ourselves out. We were both completely shocked. I have never felt so alone and scared. I immediately called Rocky Mountain Women’s Care and told them my situation and within 20 minutes Dr. Forschner personally called me. I immediately cried and told him I was so happy to hear from him. He then spent time helping me figure out my options for what was best for me. At which point he told me considering how far along I was he recommended a D&C ..he even helped me figure out which hospital we could do it at that my insurance would cover..he told me to think about all my options and take my time and call back if that was something I wanted to do. I never felt pressured and I genuinely felt heard for once during my entire pregnancy. I then called back and was scheduled for the procedure and Belinda did all of the work and helped me find a day that worked for me and she contacted the hospital. I hung up and felt like a weight was lifted off of me. I was able to pass the baby naturally at home a day later. During the most horrible time of my life, Dr. Forschner and his team made me feel human again and made me feel like I mattered and my angel baby mattered. Thank you Rocky Mountain Women’s Care. And thank you Dr. Forschner you are a God sent.
I am still digesting the traumatic experience I just had at Rocky Mountain Women’s Clinic in an attempt to be seen for my consult with Dr. Breeden. to give context, my referring physician sent in a referral with request for the office to call me to make a consult appointment. no one ever called. i called twice to follow up and was directed to a messaging service. I left two very detailed messages and was told my call would be returned by EOD. no one ever called. i contacted my DR who called personally to make an appointment for me. she confirmed an 8:30am appointment for 8/25. I was then emailed with a confirmation for an appointment on 8/25 at 9:30am. that caused confusion so I called to follow up to be sure of my date and time: 9:30am consult with Dr. Breeden on 8/25. I filled our all necessary paperwork. fast forward to appointment day and I managed to make it with 10 min to spare despite having to navigate my way through construction with a baby in a stroller no one notified me before to be prepared for this and it was quite a challenge/very confusing. when I entered the office the receptionist was on the phone and refused to even glance my way. after minutes of me waiting patiently she finally acknowledged my existence and asked my name. when I told her, she told me there was not an appointment on the books for me. I showed her my email and her response was “I get that - but I don’t see you here and Dr. Breeden is in surgery.” this was obviously disheartening and I requested a reschedule. I was met with extreme attitude and told that he would return “as soon as you walk out.” my phone died and I was not comfortable staying but decided to remain patient. there was confusion around what my appointment was for and it was clear they had nothing on file from previous communication. prior to the appointment, I was told Dr. Breeden sees many patients without insurance and that we could discuss all of that in the consult. the receptionist insisted that I gave them a credit card before seeing Dr. Breeden. I expressed that I would like to see him first and was, very rudely, told that wasn’t an option. With tears in my eyes I told both receptionist that I would prefer to leave. their response was: “good. we would appreciate that.” as someone with two recent chronic illness diagnosis’s which i was there to discuss and horrible anxiety in general and around doctors in particular, this was one of the WORST and most traumatic experiences of my life. I left, baby in arms, with tears streaming down my face. do yourself a favor and spare yourself the stress and heartache of visiting this office. there are people in patient care who do care and they are NOT found here.
Didn’t even get past scheduling a first appointment. The receptionist here really need some education/training. As so many others have noted they just ruin the experience and will cause you to want to go elsewhere. Their lack of knowledge is impressive to say the least and on top of that they are just rude. Go elsewhere you don’t need added stress when pregnant.
Dr. Breeden is the absolute BEST. I could leave this state and would come back just for him to care for me during pregnancy and deliver my 2nd baby. I am getting choked up just thinking about this. I’m so thankful for that man! 10/10 amazing!
I first started coming here when I was pregnant in 2016, I had the most wonderful, caring, professional doctor, Dr. Shanna Rompel. However, after her departure in 2019, my care was switched to Dr Mody. She is completely rude, will write off your concerns as they don’t matter or aren’t important, doesn’t care to listen to what YOU THE PATIENT is feeling, and overall is judgmental. For someone that is currently going to school in hopes to join the healthcare field one day, the experiences I’ve had with Dr Mody are completely off putting. If you can’t be compassionate to your patients then why are you in the field. After my appointment today I will be waiting for my tests results then I will most definitely be finding a new provider. Yesterday I took 2000mg of Metronidazole to treat an infection as per Dr. Moody’s direction, since then I have been profusely shaking, extreme confusionnot knowing where I am at times, no sleep, and vomiting non stop. I went in to get blood work done this morning and explained the concern I had for my symptoms that have arisen, and if the antibiotic could be the potential cause or if it was having a bad reaction to my other newly prescribed medications. She completely ignored me and told the nurse to tell me it was “definitely not the antibiotic because I only took it one time”, she never asked what other medications I had started taking, which a second opinion has now told me is the cause for my symptoms and I shouldn’t have been mixing the types. I’m frustrated that she has continually been so quick to dismiss me with no warmth a doctor should show. Coming into an appointment can already be an incredibly difficult experience for lots of people, the worst thing you can do is then make them feel stupid and superior for asking questions and wanting the proper care. I hope her other patients have much better experiences.
We got pregnant with our first baby. We are 35+ years old and got pregnant vis IVF. After long IVF journey, we were finally pregnant. We are seeing Dr. David Forschner since the beginning of this pregnancy. He is awesome, understand our fear of high risk pregnancy, bed manner is great, care of every single details of my health situation and baby's. We are so blessed to have him as our OB doctor. When I went to deliver, he was there the entire time. My contraction was weird and couldn't get monitored by the machine. His amazing experience made each push valuable and efficient. Our baby got cord rapped on his neck, and he was pail when he was out. Dr. Forschner's professional actions saved him. Baby is healthy. We couldn't say enough about how much we appreciate him. He will be our only choice if we get pregnant again.
