Went in for an IUD insertion and they handed me the waiver to sign AFTER the procedure was done listing all of the risks involved. I was never informed of any of the risks upfront from the Dr.
No amount of words can begin to express how much I loved Dr. Lilja and Kylie. This was my 4th pregnancy and she was by far my favorite OB. She was also the first OB i was seeing during appointments to actually deliver the baby as well. Why? Because she truly cared. When getting closer to due date she would tell me when she would be out of town or had off so I knew to not try to have the baby during those days. Like she WANTED to deliver my baby and be apart of the birth. She listened to all my concerns and reassured me when I would be worried. She remembered everything I told her about my past pregnancies and even my personal life. They also were so welcoming to my 3rd daughter coming and let her help and be apart of the visit process. We had a surprise with my baby when she was born and Dr. Lilja checked in on me, made sure I stayed on top of PPD, she just really made me feel like family and that made all the difference when I had no family in utah. IF I were to ever have another baby I would move back to Utah just so she could be my OB again.
This review is for the front desk staff. My daughter and I both went to see Dr. Chelu for the first time last week. I went back in today for my IUD appointment only to be told that they tried to call me ten minutes before I got there to tell me that they don't have the one I want in stock. They also told me that Dr. Chelu is transferring so I'll have to reschedule with a new person if I wanted to stay with them. After that inconvenience and not even an apology, I don't think so! Thanks for wasting my time!
I had a great experience at this clinic! I became pregnant with my first child during the middle of this pandemic. Dr. Felicia Katz was amazing working with me throughout the process; I felt supported and cared for by her. Even after my child was born, I had to call the late night line due to becoming sick with the flu, and was guided through what I needed to do for my health. Also, The front staff is also amazing and very accommodating. Overall great experience! I highly recommend this clinic!
Staff and Dr Lilja are so amazing!they been taking good care of me since day one I walked in.i hated seeing doc cause I am scared of them but this is the first time ever that i feel comfortable and supportive seeing a doc.she was a wonderful from my day one appointments up to delivered and tie my tube.oh not forgetting her tubal ligation surgery is well perfect.Thumb up !!you can barely spot my scar on my belly bottom.I’m kinda miss seeing her and Kyle in every month they are both lovely. I want to make another baby so I can come see you two again lol that’s how good they are with me Thank you Dr.Lilja
I was going to the Rocky Mountain women’s health down in Layton! They were great, staff was wonderful and helped me on my first pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage and then now I am on my second pregnancy and they did wonderful but at 11 weeks of my second I have to transfer due to moving and not wanting to be so far away just in case for the emergencies! Today I tried scheduling an ultrasound including with an appointment with a new ob they said I couldn’t until 20 weeks. Tried explaining I miscarried before so I would like to know if I’m ok until I’m in the safe zone and the lady who I was scheduling with argued with me and said they couldn’t. I would like to know if everything is going ok because of the fear of my past pregnancy. She told me we can’t and I would have to make an appointment to visit with the doctor to see if I can get an appointment for an ultrasound. It’s ridiculous because my last miscarriage my body for a month didn’t miscarry on its own and my last doctor had to give me pills to help my body miscarry on its own. I tried explaining but they didn’t listen.
Yesterday, I had my first appointment at this office with Dr. Andrea Smith. From the moment I walked in to the office to check in, I felt very welcomed and everyone was so kind. Dr. Smith and her nurse were both very attentive, knowledgeable, and kind as well. I've been to a few different women's health clinics and this has been the best experience. I'm usually nervous and uncomfortable.. but I felt very comfortable with Dr. Smith.
Great experience at this health center. Dr. Katz and her student were both helpful and professional! I felt very comfortable and excited to have them apart of my health team.
Dr. Laura Chelu and her staff are phenomenal. They are all professional, caring, friendly, and welcoming. I have been able to get appointments very quickly and have never had to wait more than a week for one. I have waited no longer than 3-5 minutes to be called back after arriving for my appointment. My pap exam was pleasant. I felt no discomfort at all and Dr. Chelu made sure to let me know everything she was doing. When I returned and had the Mirena IUD inserted, Dr. Chelu and her assistant, Monique, made sure that my comfort was a priority at all times. In short; Rocky Mountain Women's Health Clinic, Dr. Laura Chelu and the entire staff are the elite, the best of the best, all the way from the receptionists and the assistants to the physicians. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for a professional and reliable ObGyn team who truly cares for their patients' health and well being.
Not a great experience. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, as directed by the staff. However, the midwife was at the hospital delivering a baby when I got there. The staff couldn’t give me an indication on when she would be back and there was another person who had an appointment before mine that was still waiting to be seen. It was highly frustrating to not get a phone call saying that my appointment would be delayed when the staff knew that this would be the case. Overall impression? They weren’t super considerate of my time.
