The place itself was nicely planned and decorated, but the whole experience did not match the experience. Food, security and hospitality services requires management’s attention. We came there to grab a few drinks with appetizers, and we were surprised they let a party of more than 10 people to crowd our table the guests from other party literally stopped at our table a few times, putting their drinks on our table. We shared that info with our server but it was more like sharing our thoughts with him, no actions were taken.
Hostesses were unable to assign you a table even though many tables were still free. We had not reserved so went to our room and reserved a table only 15 minutes later. Why was this necessary? Waiter does not check up on you because he is too busy. Disappears with your credit card and never comes back. Chaos at the bar, not clear where to cue or who is able to take your order. Our drinks in cans, no glasses. Very pricy given the lack of customer service. Not recommended.
Came here with 5 friends. We purchased a cabana for 2 hours through ResortPass. The rooftop was pretty empty and our waitress was pretty attentive until more folks started arriving. We ordered drinks and food. Most were just ok. Nothing to write home about. We ordered a mix of things lobster roll, scallop taco, wings, flatbread and chicken Caesar salad. The macaroni and cheese was not edible so we sent it back. All and all I would return for a quick drink bit not food. Atmosphere was cute..wish the music was a bit better.
Lower your expectations. Made a reservation, met the hostess and they pointed us towards our barstools at a high top table. Not cleaned of the last table's mess, the drink situation was a small, crowded walk-up bar. The drink was okay, but the vibe of looking over a parking garage plus the overall dingyness was lackluster
Not worth the view! I tried to order dessert, but they were out of most of their menu. Unfortunately it took the server two trips and two order attempts for me to learn this, so I gave up and settled for a hummus and veggie plate. And boy, did I settle. The hummus plate had 1 halved carrot, 1 halved celery, a small handful of cherry tomatoes, and about 3 tablespoons of hummus. Everything was under-seasoned minus a drizzle of olive oil. The oil meant I needed a napkin, which was a problem since there was no silverware or napkin at my table and I had to track down the server to request this. Over 5 minutes later, I finally had a fork and napkin and could eat. I paid over $30 for a glass of wine and a few veggies, which I consumed in a broken chair, so I couldn't even lean back and at least enjoy the view. Very disappointed and would NOT recommend. The kind man working the lobby of the hotel was the only positive part of my experience.
Closed for the season but still let us book reservations! So glad I looked the place up again to show my wife where is was located a week before our trip! We made reservations in advance when they were open to have dinner here for our honeymoon. No indication anywhere that they would be closing for the season! Their website will even still let you book a table. What a mess!
One of Boston's greatest views from over 20 stories high!!!! So beautiful
Absolutely horrible. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and 45 total for food. Our guests who sat at another table, never got their food after waiting an hour and half. The drinks were strong but only to compensate for their lack of service. Even another party who sat beside us, left after noticing our guests leave. Definitely not worth the money. The view was okay. Envoy is WAY better.
Visited in the evening and enjoyed a couple of drinks while enjoying nice views over the city from the outside patio area. Prices not too bad considering it’s a rooftop bar.
Maybe we went on an off night, but overall the experience was sub-par. It was our first time there and we got a pitcher of their sangria, which they filled fully with ice first and just a fruit juice mixture and what looked like Prosecco, so only got about 3 drinks out of it and would’ve cost less to get 3 individual drinks. Definitely overpriced for what we got, but can’t speak to other drinks as that’s all we got. And then they told us they’d be closing early because it was cold… however, good thing was there was plenty of seating and different types of seating. Sadly, we won’t be returning but it does have potential to be a cool spot and probably worth stopping by if you are staying at the hotel!
