Story

Dr. Shadi Abedin was raised in Houston, TX and graduated from The Kinkaid School. She attended Washington University in St. Louis and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Spanish with a minor in photography. After receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Abedin continued her education at Boston University, where she completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency followed by a 2 year Endodontic residency. Dr. Abedin was awarded a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Endodontics from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Abedin has been practicing endodontics since 2010 and is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the Houston Academy of Endodontists (HAE). Her passion lies in endodontics and her first priority in dental practice is providing quality comprehensive care for each patient. Dr. Abedin’s personal interests include traveling, swimming, and photography as well as spending time with her family and friends.
