Sharing since I was prompted by Google. Submitted an inquiry for an initial meeting and had a call w Jamie 6.17. pleasant conversation and laid out the process engaging my excitement! i completed the questionnaire as requested within 24hrs after the initial call and didnt hear anything back until i initiated contact a week later. its my understanding i was suppose to hear back frm Jamie with some matches that could be a good fit before committing to one of her program options. apologies were given to being timely in communicating and was told that i should have feedback within 48hrs via email at the latest paraphrasing here. remaining optismistic, i waited. it is now 7/5, folks and i never received a text, call or email. very peculiar, lacks decorum and professionalism at least. i would recommend that they better communicate with prospective clients even if u do not find anything so that they or me rather know where they stand. seemed promising but based on this unbecoming introductory experience, i would not recommend to others.
TOTAL SCAM! PLEASE READ!! Jamie Rose Villarreal and her staff will disappear shortly after she receives her money. She is extremely unprofessional: will not even show for scheduled meetings, sends random drunk texts, disorganized, lies, won't reply to any emails. Her excuses range from: my Maserati broke down in the middle of the freeway and my cell phone was dead; new cell-none of my contacts moved over- lost your contact information; appointment was confirmed ystrday but I have a dental appointment now; I am trying to hire new, more professional staff, it's their fault this is happening; I'm out personally recruiting just for you tonightstaff said not true; I'm really upset about my recently ended engagement and I'm taking a few weeks off. In summary: you will not be interacting with someone at the same level of you and your colleagues; you will be disappointed in the lower standards of business etiquette and delivery. Frustration will ensue quickly. In the sales pitch from her and Jorge Ochoa, they had "several potential matches and I would be on multiple dates within 30 days"-- yet I have not been matched once in over a year. She completely stopped sending me matches after just a few months. Her "guarantee" is that if you purchase a package for X amount of time, but don't get the guaranteed number of dates, she will continue to match you until your date minimum is met. This is a lie. Also note, the majority of her male clients are over 50 years old and prefer women under 35. After my initial meeting, I expressed my concerns about being matched with the male profiles she showed me. Yet they called consistently days after and used the sales tactic of "well if you don't decide by tomorrow, we are going to give your space to another female candidate and we don't know when we will be accepting new female clients again." Please don't be weak like me given in. Say you just met someone or bet yet got engaged last night or she won't stop calling you. It is also fraudulent sales behavior to claim to have an 88% success rate; clearly this is not accurate and is not accounting for everyone they accept funds from. I understand that being in the "people matching" business is not an easy one, but don't take money from clients that you know you can't match, deceit them, lie to them, and never answer an email or phone call. You may see the occasional positive review, but take notice there are very few and listed along with reviews from her photographer, father and close friends. Note that in all of the bad reviews, her response is: "this is a fake profile, no client by this name, please remove". These victims don't want to post their real name because either: 1. they still have a sliver of hope that she will deliver some services after spending so much money or 2. they might feel ashamed for using a match maker because they are private people. Hence- why professionals pick a service and don't want to online date. Her service fees range from $5k-$50k depending on how much she think she can steal from you...you provide your net income on her entry form. Most dissatisfied clients will just 'write it off as a bad mistake' and won't come after her legally because it just won't be worth their time or personal embarrassment. Jaime has built her business banking on just that: You will be too busy or private/embarrassed to sue or publicly post a review. It took me some courage to publicly post this, but I felt obligated so others would not be taken advantage of. I am pleased that so many people have reached out to me. Some have even apologized for not posting before my experience. Please do not trust Jaime even when she claims to be endorsed by Channel 2 and other large brands. Jamie - I will rewrite my review once you provide me ANYTHING you promised and that is clearly stated in your contract. Or here is a suggestion to update your contract to hedge this review: If you can't match a client for at least ONE DATE, GIVE THEM A REFUND ! Ask yourself, how much would you owe to date? I bet at least 250k.
I was treated so rudely by Jamie. She took 8k from me and wouldn't return my phone calls. I finally got a meeting set up with her and she stood me up. The few dates she set me up with were totally not the type that I had told her I was looking for. She tells you that she has a hundred people that she could match you with or she won't sign you up.Totally not true. This company is a total scam. It's sad that she victimizes honest people who truly want that special person in their lives. DO NOT waste your money or get your heart's hope up.
Complete scam!!! Please don't do it. I went to them thinking they do criminal background checks on their clients but there's no proof of anything they promised. They breached their contract by overcharging me in one month, and I submitted proof with receipts that they still denied, in addition to compromising my identity and privacy and lying to me about their services. I had to contest charges with my credit card company, who took the case in agreement with me, in addition to filing a complaint with BBB and spoke with a lawyer who informed me that I had legal grounds to sue for punitive damages. They are desperate for clients and your money, they have no interest in clients and do not have high profile clients as indicated. They have not rendered any services and have no desire to be professional with anyone. In addition, they have 4 complaints filed with the BBB for the same reasons, that you can google, that's why they are not accredited. I should have taken caution with the negative google reviews but gave it the benefit of the doubt after speaking to them and falling for their deception. When you contact them, they are always sick or out of town or busy. I have proof of my correspondence with them and will be happy to share it with anyone.
I'm not one of Jamie's clients; I'm her father. So, I may be a bit biased. I'm reading through these reviews and see some rather disparaging comments which are likely from a disgruntled employee. Jamie, Joseph, and Renee are committed individuals focused on providing excellent customer service. I've seen them work and they take their clients very seriously.
I am having a great experience working with them. I was nervous about the process but after meeting my first match I now feel very comfortable and excited even. I did not have chemistry with my first match but that happens. I am optimistic and it is much more personal than online dating. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.Have a great day.
It is a complete scam. They are highly unprofessional. They just take your money and don't provide any service. They promise you a lot and don't deliver. They wouldn't return my phone calls. I finally got a meeting set up with the owner and she was 2 hours late. She always has an excuse. She tells you that she has a big database that she could match you with. Completely not true. This company is a total scam. It's pathetic that they scam and victimize people who truly want a matchmaking service. Don't waste your money. Its hopeless.
My over all experience with Rose Matchmaking and working with Jamie is very positive. Unlike some comments I have read on here I have never had an issue getting ahold of Jamie or any of her staff.
I had a great experience Jamie is great at what she does. She matched me up with my now husband a few few years ago. I couldn't be happier and I owe it all to Jamie and the rose matchmaking team
This service is a true scam. I am a person that fell for their scam a few years ago. Luckily I listened to my gut and only gave her $1,000. I find some of the complaints are congruent. Once she has your money she will stop responding to you. When she finally decides to answer, always has excuses why she couldn’t come through. Please be careful, and do not lose your money in hopes of finding love.
