I truly despise establishments that upcharge tips and stereotype. I went yesterday for a pedicure, the salon had multiple flies and gnats flying around which damped my experience. The heated towels they used to end your pedicure were heavily stained with juice/food marks. The pricing on their screen when you first walk in mentioned that pedicures were $30 for regular & $56 for gel pedicure. I wanted something simple and went for the standard manicure. When it was time to leave the cashier quickly upcharged $6 for no reason and I knew then that he inserted a tip in the case I didn’t leave one, this is very distasteful because that was way less than what I was planning on leaving but I wasn’t leaving a double tip so I happily wrote 0 in the tip line. And they also did this to my mother in law but we took it in stride and said nothing to them, to avoid being an “angry black woman” No telling how many other people they have done/do this to, but I’ll never patronize this place again. Be careful and ensure your service amount before. I wish I had taken a picture to upload the price list vs my receipt.Service: Pedicure
Always a professional outlook..and flawless polish..Venny the nail tech she is awesome..never a long sit and wait..and top of the line nail polish used in this salon..
They tend to have a little bit of a wait and never answer the phone... So making an appointment, if they even take appointments is basically impossible. The pedicures have always been great. However, if you are getting acrylics, I highly recommend requesting the male manicurist I'm sorry, I do not know his name. He does an exceptional job! I have not always had the best luck with the other nail technicians. All in all, for a budget friendly nail salon, it's a decent place to go.
I went on Thursday for a film and nail repair. The employees are ok expect the lady had a attitude and for a filling was $18 cause of my length. They’ don’t use nail cutters & they do thin them out a bit much but I’ve always never let a male do my nails but he was great. I broke one last night so I’ll definitely be back today...
Rose's nail shop is the cleanest and quietest nail salon in Memphis. It makes for an extremely relaxing and invigorating spa mani-pedi treatment. The techs are all so professional, thorough and take their time to provide the prettiest and most perfect nails and toes this side of the Mississippi!! They are more than affordable and the colors that you can choose from are extensive. This is by far my most favorite nail shop in town, hands down!! -Gia
This location is NOT the same as the one on the news...Their service is 5 star...What I love about them the most is that if you ask to have a service done that is not healthy to your nails they will let you know what you are asking for is not a healthy choice. they treat their customer's like family. And they give the best pedicures in the city!
Rose Nail Salon used to be much better. Back in October I would go twice a month for a fill in and paint for my stiletto nails and a pedicure every other visit. I loved the good pricing. My acrylic never broke and lasted...Not anymore. I go for a visit and you are stuck waiting for over an hour in most cases. There are usually only four people working. I've asked for a manicure twice before filling my acrylic in, to push back my cuticles, remove hang nails, and the massage and both times my request was ignored. They have not removed my ingrown toenails, and barely make an effort to go under your toe nail to remove dirt and build up. Plus, I still have dead skin after a pedicure. Now normally a pedicure can last almost a month, the last two I have gotten have chipped within a week, last time my toe nails were cut uneven....Plus, I feel like the whole pedicure process is rushed, I've been to cosmetology school and things like that can not be rushed. I get that people are waiting and there are limited employees...but at what point do you decide four employees isn't enough when people are either leaving or waiting for a ridiculous amount of time? On to my gel acrylic nails...usually I have acrylic and keep them painted, but I wanted a change and got white tipped gel acrylic...not smart. After a week the gel got an orange tint and start rising around the bottom edges. Some of my nails are not filed straight or even have the same shape nothing noticeable to anyone at first glace, but it is not something I'm happy about paying for. I went to get them filled and you can clearly see the line in each nail where the new acrylic is, compared to the old, and you can see the lifted edges from last time underneath. Now, the fill in is lifting as well. He also did not cover the tip of my nail, where my nails are growing out and pushing the white tip out...long story short they look awful. I used to love Rose! Because of their ridiculous wait, I started going to another salon, but came back because my acrylic kept breaking.... Well, I rather have higher prices and some repairs now and then over poorly done work after a long wait! Not to mention, they have a POOR selection of polish. I'm a full-time college student and only work for spending money, but I spend at least a quarter of my monthly paycheck on the upkeep of my nails, which I don't mind doing, but I expect good quality work done on me. The appearance of my nails is very important to me, so I take it very seriously. If I am willing to wait for a service, choose your business and pay good money twice monthly for multiple services, I expect it be done properly.
They r fast and very nice, never a long wait most times no wait at all! My nails always look nice til I return every other week, great location .... No problem getting In or Out
