I stayed for two nights and the visit was absolutely lovely. The hosts were so genuinely kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The house is beautifully restored and the beds comfortable. Bathrooms are gorgeous and the whole house is spotless. It is also filled with folk art from area artists. There were warm chocolate cookies - for a snack, and wine in the evening. Truly a wonderful experience.

Had a lovely visit. Jamie and Heather are warm, interesting, and fun conversationalists. Breakfast was wonderful, from lemon ricotta pancakes topped with raspberries to pan-fried potatoes with asparagus and just the right seasoning. Enjoyed rocking on the front porch, viewing their great collection of folk art, and walking downtown to restaurants and shops. Bed was ever so cozy with super soft sheets and amazingly comfortable pillows. Will definitely be back.

I loved this B & B. Check in and out was simple, the staff was more than friendly and accommodating, and the location was perfect. I would recommend this to any couple needing a night away

This is an excellent value. We had a very tasty breakfast. We got afternoon tea and it was good. It wasn't as good as other teas we've had (they use tea bags, for example), but the food was good. The homemade scones were outstanding.
We stayed in the Retreat and enjoyed it. The bathroom with the big tub is excellent. That was what we wanted and it was great.
Overall, this place is sort of mixed. On one hand, you have a great breakfast, a comfy bed, and a tremendous bathroom. On the other, you have mixed styles of art and tea bags at afternoon tea. It's hard to give this place 5 stars, but the rating system won't let me give it 4.3 either.
This is a great place to stay in Pittsboro. It's an excellent value and I do recommend it.
