Rosenblum Eye Centers

They were part of my insurance and I had seen decent reviews so got an appointment for a detailed eye check up here. The appointment started out OK but by the time it ended, I had a very different opinion of this place. Dr. Naysan and the technician Josh, were the ones who attended to my appointment. While it started out trying to complete my examination, halfway through Josh received a call from another doctor about something completely not work related and left my appointment to go attend to wrapping up some items and mailing them to this doctor. I was not impressed by this lack of attention or leaving me in the middle of my examination. Dr. Naysan went over the reports and was not able to conclude with any certainty on the results, and phrases like ‘ It’s not that I don’t believe you’ or ‘you seem old, but not old enough‘ rapidly decreased my degree of confidence in his findings. When a doctor mentions that some equipment for an exam has been broken for a while so they can’t use it for a patient, your confidence does plummet. The biggest red flag for me was their unwillingness to part with a complete set of reports from my appointment, in spite of me requesting a full detailed set of all examination reports. There was a lot of back-and-forth and resistance and even after all that, I only received one single page of scans. They were polite thought out so don’t get one star. Maybe that’s just the regular procedure or there’s some misfire in the delivery of information, but I walked away from this appointment not confident at all in the inconclusive diagnosis or next steps.

I have been a patient for many years but I think it is time to find another place. The Center has many good doctors including Dr. Rosenblum, but nobody is managing the shop. Most inefficient place I can think of and you can easily waste half a day there. There is chronic disorganization and the staff that are good are understandably frustrated. Dr. Rosenblum should either hire a good office manager or close the operation.

The people at this office are so professional and understanding! The Doctors have always been incredible. Dr. Shah explained things incredibly and really took the time to make sure I was comfortable and answered all of my questions. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my ophthalmology needs!

This was my first time at Rosenblum Eye Centers Forest Hills, Queens location. My appointment was at 9:45am and I was seen within 10 minutes of finishing up my registration paperwork. The women at the front desk were very kind and helpful one lady stayed on the phone with me while I looked for the office since it was difficult to locate due to heavy construction in the area. Dr. Rosenblum was polite, funny, listened to me and explained eye related issues in detail. He made me feel comfortable and did a complete eye examination on me. I would definitely recommend this place! FYI: just try to give yourself ample time to look for parking if you are driving there...Queens Blvd is no joke lol

Rosenblum eye center is a friendly and clean environment. Dr. Rosenblum is very friendly, he listen to your concerns and make sure you understand before you leave his office. The assistant and receptionist is also friendly. They get 5 stars. Overall it is a great place.

The receptionist, Margie, greeted me warmly and explained thoroughly how to correctly fill out all forms. The first nurse/assistant reviewed my medical history in a professional manner. Next came the technician who photographed the inner workings of my eyes. He explained everything to me before he began. I next encountered Queenie, who is always upbeat and welcoming. And then, Dr. Rosenbaum entered the room and methodically examined my eyes. He is affable, knowledgeable, and caring. The only negative experience was the wait time. My appointment was for 11:45, but I did not enter the first exam room until after 1:00 pm. I am, however, always pleased with the quality of care.

I have been a patient at Rosenblum Eye Centers for many years and received quality care and treatment. I have visited the Forest Hills and Manhattan locations and never had an issue with appointments. Dr. Rosenblum has answered all of my questions and concerns after cataract surgery. I am very happy being patient at Rosenblum Eye Centers.

The place was very welcoming. There were many others waiting but I was seen promptly after they went in for their appointments. Doctor made sure to answer any questions and that I was comfortable! Really wish they still made glasses!

Dr. Rosenblum has amazing bedside manner and very good at what he does. He is extremely smart and well experienced. It’s rare to find providers these days that truly care about their patients. He certainly cares as does his staff.

I have been going to Rosenblum Eye Centers for about 23 years now. I have always received top notch service from it's staff. I do not hesitate to encourage my friends or anyone who needs help with their eyes to seek help from them.
