Food is so good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. Attached photo is the aftermath. Definitely must try their sauces. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Enioy!!!

This is the place. I went here on a Groupon. I had second thoughts because it's over a hundred miles from my home. We went twice. his staff is very friendly mischievous is good. The food what's one of the best I've had for Cajun food. I love their hush puppies. We could not get enough of them. We have the jambalaya gumbo and other Louisiana dishes. I like the fried green tomatoes, beignet, and the po' boys. Definitely a good eat. Beautifully decorated and the vibrant colors of New Orleans. I wish I lived closer I would be there every week.

Unique selection of foods and tastes! Looking for something different and new - this is the place to check out! They have lunch specials, too. I've greatly enjoyed everything I've bought here. Occasionally they will even have gator!

Roux Dat is a place that I am upset about. Upset because in my years in Santa Cruz, no one told me about it! As a huge fan of cajun cuisine this place hits all the right buttons. Of particular enjoyment for me is the Fried Green Tomato Po'Boy. What a wonderful discovery with just the right blend of savory, tang, and that spark of spice. It will leave you looking for beads to throw. Couple with their inhouse lemonade and you've got a lunch that truly satisfies. And best of all you can get all this as their lunch special price that puts to shame the other deals in Capitola. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of the fact that you now know about Roux Dat and don't make my mistake and wait too long to go there!
