This was the second time I had booked my room with them considering that I had stayed with them in 2017. The location is superb, very close to Time square. Quality and standard of amenities in the room has gone down. I paid 1400$ for 4 nights. The room doesn't even provided basic amenities like a toothbrush. There was trash left over behind the bed. Basic amenities like tea/coffee is also not given in the room, no kettle, no coffee maker, no fridge. The lady who checked me in was very unwelcoming and cold she didn't have name batch. Rather than checking me in she was more interested with the conversation happening between the other receptionist and a guy over the other counter. She told me I need to pay for 150$ extra as a deposit, I gave her 200$ least bothered she kept the entire amount and when I asked for my balance very casually she replied" I got busy and then I forgot" and didn't give me my balance back because she started taking to other guy over the counter who wasn't even taking to her. Totally unprofessional staff! The staff standing outside the elevator are warm and humble. The lady who checked me out was very good and friendly. Also, don't forget to take you check out receipt just to make sure they don't charge for extra stuff that who might haven't used as they didn't provide me with any receipt so I don't know what all they charged me for!
I was a little nervous to stay here after reading the reviews but I’m SO glad I didn’t listen to them! This hotel was great! Perfect location, the beds are cozy, our room was clean and had fantastic views. The front desk was very helpful and let us check in early. Our room was big enough we both could have done push ups and jumping jacks. For those who want to stay in a great location for their visit in NYC, I’d recommend here!
Second time staying here and can not wait to go back. Perfect location. My room was perfect. Corner room king size comfy bed and the bathroom was spacious. Front desk super friendly and helpful. I give it 5 stars because I can not give them moreRooms: 5/5
Dumpster fire!! Not for tall people.. rooms are TINY. I felt like a hermit crab. I killed 7 roaches in my room. When i told the front desk they gave me a whole $40 off for sharing my already tiny space with their 7 friends. I get to this New York and hotel rooms are expensive, but if you’re gonna charge this kind of prices you should be able to afford pest control. I also paid for a superior room and was given a standard. When they switch the rooms at the front desk for me, not only did they charge me $50 more per night for the room that I already paid for, but it was exactly the same room that I had! ZERO DIFFERENCE. Their website, advertised it as being 100 square-foot more than the standard room, which is why I booked it! I will never stay in this hotel, again complete fraud. Pay the extra money and go to a better hotel .
I’ll be honest, I was HORRIFIED when I first read the reviews. They were all so poor that I almost cancelled right before check in. However, I decided to see it through and I’m glad I did. This place is entirely serviceable and I haven’t encountered an issue so far. The bed was comfortable enough, the bathroom - while small - is completely fine with ample towels. There’s even a proper bathtub! The location is also perfect. Overall, I’m fairly pleased, despite my initial worries.
Overpriced rooms and not up to standard Very poor condition and extremely overpriced for amenities. Door to bathroom does not shut. Safe does not work. When explained to management, no response. Very tatty could do with face lift Corridors very dark and not very clean. Long queues to speak to anybody. Does not offer late checkout service. No help with luggage and bedding torn and not changed for the first 3 days. Lift service slow, and far too small for the amount of guests. We were even asked by other guests if it really was a hotel!
Room was the perfect size for the two of us.. we wished there was a fridge in it though. Great location, one street over from Times Square.. quick walk to central park and empire state building. The elevator system is a little wild.. it will sometimes tell you there is no lift available, some stairwells do not bring you down to the ground floor. So leave extra time for navigating.. ran in to a few very rude employees but over all people were mostly helpful and kind!
The hotel location is excellent if you want to stay near times square it's so close that it's like you are at times square. But rest is not good, the carpet in the room were not clean, rooms lack simple amenities like a coffee maker and there is no microwave in the hotel to heat up your food. My room had a tiny window which gives a view of other rooms of the hotel thus never opened it.
Besides the location, nothing else is going on for the hotel. The hotel is absolutely disgusting. The lobby and lift and corridors smell of pee. No effort is seen taken to clean, sanitize and make the place smell or look better. The dim lighting in the lobby, lifts, and corridors covers up the mess. The bed is infested with bed bugs, and my colleagues actually carry bed bug spray as this is a company-paid trip. Horrible experience! PLEASE DON'T EVER STAY HERE!!!!
Great location! Within easy walking distance of theaters, restaurants, Times Square, and other attractions. The rooms are clean, but small and could use some TLC. The shower in our bathroom was broken and the bathroom door had popped off its track and didn't close, but maintenance fixed it all within an hour of us alerting the front desk. I wish there were more amenities to make the high cost of the rooms worth it, but overall our stay was pleasant.
