Smells like mold and the bedding is less than comfortable. I thought I was getting the New Orleans Omni that’s truly closest to the river which is the Omni Riverfront. This place barely makes 2.5 stars. This Omni is unlike my experience with other Omni Hotels of which I was very pleased. I seriously would check out if I could get my money back

Our stay at this hotel has been lovely. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable. There are legends that the hotel is haunted, although we didn't have any run-ins with the supernatural during our stay. The location is great because it convenient enough to the hot spots to walk, but also far enough away from all of the unpleasant sounds and smells of the most heavily trafficked part of the French Quarter. I would definitely stay again.

Could use a little updating but for the price, can't complain and if you valet park call ahead of time, it takes a few....enjoyed ourselves but bring a fan if your a light sleeper...however we got engaged and it was hot in our room and the staff upgraded is to the biggest suite in the hotel, the staff go out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible!❤❤

The hotel is in strategic location, close to many amenities. I was there last year during spring. You just walk to French Quarter, only few blocks from the hotel. Also it is close to New Orleans Riverside and the famous cathedral. You can just walk. Some of the iconic restaurants are also nearby such as Mother's which has been visited by many celebrities and politicians including President George Bush. Mother's has been actively involved in helping people during Katrina Hurricane. If you go there, try gumbo, po-boy and jambalaya.
After eating, you can walk few blocks to the riverside enjoying the waterfront or you can sholping in Riverside malls. I went to Nordstrom and the store has many collections

Location is great, but the greatness ends there. Paper thin walls, can't sleep at night due to the loud banging coming from people opening doors and staff entering closets. I can hear my neighbors conversations word for word. Cleaning staff was yelling by our door at 6:30AM.
Room and bathroom was fairly clean upon arrival.
Rooms could use some sprucing up and updating. Ceiling in the bathroom had cracks and holes in it. Temperature control in the room is average. I felt a bit warm and had trouble getting the room cooler.
Cheap TV.
WiFi was AWFULY slow.
Overall just an average hotel.w
