Rubys Downtown Mediterranean Grill

My family and I visited Ruby's yesterday as we were looking for a quick bite to eat. When we arrived there - there was only 1 person doing all the ordering, the cooking and cleaning when the amount of work should have easily been a 3-person job. I wish I had asked for this young man's name, because the 5 star goes specifically to him. Honestly, he not only kept this place going, he made sure every meal he prepared (speaking for our group) was a 5 star meal. To be able to handle a big crowd under pressure and perform with quality is rare. He deserves to own his own business he was that impressive. Thank you sir...Note for management - it would be nice to have tv's working while dining and have more staff to handle the number of people visiting your venue.

This place has changed names a few times. It's always been eh ok but this most recent time with new management and staff has been amazing! Nicole is the absolute best and seriously makes this place! She's so nice helpful and attentive there are not enough words to describe! I will definitely be back because of Nicole! She needs a raise! I gave her one and will continue to when I come back! Thank you Ruby's for a great place downtown! There are not many but you are by far one of the best!! Thank you!!

The food is not authentic Mediterranean. Meat is not tender like it should be. Stuffed grape leaves are decent, so is the eggplant.

The food tastes authentic, but it's clearly microwaved. The meat was old, and the lamb was salted far too much; perhaps to mask its age. For the price I paid, the food didn't give me the value I expectes.

Do not go here If you have food alergies and/or hate dealing with rude employees. I came here with a friend that has some alergies and the customer service was horrible, mainly the employee at the counter was annoyed about being asked what seasoning was on the fries, when as customers we didnt know the seasonings they use on the fries nor did we expect anything other than salt. Tho I personaly have as much of an issue, she did; and both of us expected more out of the food and the experience than what was presented to us. I will not return in a while, and I dont think she will ever return.
