Ruin

Honestly one of the best experiences downtown lately. We were taking my niece out for a fun day and stumbled upon this gem. So clean, very modern and comfortable. We loved the interior and felt comfortable enough to stay for a while. Ari was our bartender and she was fantastic. Super friendly and made us some outstanding drinks. We tried a few house cocktails. The weeeezy street is A+, but she made us a few custom cocktails that were probably some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Perfect for a night out with friends. Try their meat and cheese board. Great way to offset the cocktails.

Very cute new bar on Main! Drinks are fantastic & food options are on point. Very reasonably priced especially for the high quality of both. Strongly recommend the BAMH cocktail and grilled broccoli. Tons of gluten free and low carb options including gf options on tap! Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with a genuine quality that is hard to find. Dogs allowed outside & the vibe is great - still catching live music and frequent foot traffic but less crowded and hectic than a block south.

Love the vibe at Ruin. Also love that it's a new and well kept secret. If the bars down the street are busy, head north a block to Ruin! Amazing staff, great cocktails, and delicious food.

I was excited to hear they were upsizing to a downtown location because I loved their sugar house location. However, I feel like the employment has become too lax, bathrooms are never clean, I wait too long for my orders while the employment talk amongst themselves by the end of the bar… and I can’t tell if they sell food or not. The website says they do but I’ve never been offered even a food menu much less if I’d like food. I’m very disappointed on how the service and bar has diminished and I hope to see a change professionally soon for my favorite bar.

Fun atmosphere. Music, but still able to hear the people at your table.

This is a great bar with good seating and good music. They make killer drinks too. Our bartender, Brittany, was wonderful. The others were too as they'd constantly come by to make sure we were doing ok. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic little place! Cozy yet full of energy. Loved the atmosphere and the drinks. Bartender was awesome, explaining the different drinks and serving us up some incredible concoctions. Looking forward to going back.

Great vibes and great service! Cocktails were amazing too! We got the wings, the honey bourbon wings were way too sweet, but still great! I’d like to go back and try other food items. But all around 10/10. Great place for apps and quality cocktails!

I loved this laid-back cocktail lounge! It starts to get busier around 9:00 p.m. on the weekends. The bluebell cocktail is delicious, and the pretzels and cheese is my favorite! This is a fantastic spot for a date night or sitting, chilling, and drinking with friends. I love the casual but sophisticated lounge vibe.

Great bar in a beautiful area of SLC and the cocktail menu has a variety of interesting, reasonably priced creations. We all ordered different drinks and each one was on point. I went here recently with two other people around 10:30 on a Friday night, and although they were pretty busy, we were able to find seating and could hear each other well without shouting. I don't live in Utah anymore, but would absolutely return to this place when I visit in the future to relax & catch up with friends.
