A great lunch spot for some yum Persian food The most notable here is the service! I never had an empty cup! Love it. The food here is hearty solid! Everything we ordered turned out to be good looking and tasty. The lamb shank, kabobs, hummus, grilled shrimps and wings are good, although I was hoping for some pop in flavors which I did not find. I do like the restaurant ambiance. It’s hip and fun with spacious room inside and some spots outdoors. Valet parking makes it easy to get in and out. Happy eating!
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta and one of the best Persian meals I've had in the United States. Everything from the rice to fall-off-the-bone lamb shanks was fantastic. The cocktails are excellent as well. I don't give many restaurants 5 stars but this one is worth it. I am grading on a full 5-star scale and do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point 4 being an average score or 2-point scale 4 being a poor score, but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4 stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection.
When you pull up to Rumi’s Kitchen they will valet your car which I enjoy because you don’t have to look for parking. Once you get out the car you walk right in to the host stand. My table wasn’t ready yet so I sat at the bar and ordered my first drink. It was nice and sweet exactly how I like my drinks. Once I sat down our waiter came right over. I enjoyed the herb plate and I got hummus to go with it. For an appetizer I got Rumi’s wings and baby they were delicious! I should’ve ordered another one. For my entree I got the sea bass because it said limited availability so I was intrigued. I would definitely come back and dine again. My overall experience was wonderful.
Rumi’s kitchen - great spot, delicious authentic food. Staff was friendly, place is a bit compact but worth it either way, and helps give it a cozy vibe, the bar is super cute and they have valet not optional and affordable and the portions are incredible. If you have a light appetite one plate is good enough to share!
Highly recommended by office colleagues and as such was there this afternoon!! Restaurant, people, food … all were impeccable! We really had a good time and they pampered us with multiple hummus plates till we reached the main course Now, I am one of them who recommends this place
The food is good. I have had better chicken than this. But try lamb & beef they make it really good. I am giving 4 stars because in my 2 visits chicken disappointed me both times. But the service & ambiance & everything is amazing. Valet fee is 2$ that goes to company & any additional $ given goes to valet guys as their tip. Reservations required in advance.
Had my Christmas Eve dinner and the place was busy! The host and staff were all friendly and attentive. The menu offers fresh and delicious plates with large selection of wines and spirits. Highly recommend try it and making reservations.
The best Persian food I ever had. It's little bit pricy but the amount of food is enough to share between two people. I highly recommend their shish kebab. The servers are very nice. They served a wrong appetizer on our table along with the one we ordered. They let us keep the both free of charge.
We had dinner for four here and found Rumi's bustling with activity. Bar completely full and every table seemed full as well. Service was great and bar service was quick. We had the dolmas as an appetizer and chicken and steak kabobs as our entrees. Everything was fabulous and the rice was the best I believe I have ever had! It was fluffy and perfectly cooked delicious long grain rice. We will definitely be back! Urban Cowgill Jan 2023
Rumi's is always good! Our go-to appetizers are the yogurt they used to have trio but maybe over the pandemic they reduced to duo, the smoke salmon humus last time I had it, the salmon was mice dicy and I don't remember it having alot of the red sauce, but luckily it was still delicious! and the fried eggplant. I love how the servers bring us unlimited bread!! It's fluffy in the beginning and it becomes crisper as they cold down and it's just so delicious! The lamb here is phenomenal! It's always perfectly cooked and so well balanced with Shirin rice! We usually get Soltani kabob and ask for lamb koobideh to sub for beef. Even though there is a $3 upcharge, we think it's totally worth it! My man loves the peach soda. It's refreshing, and has a very real peachy flavor, not the usual artificial flavoring We keep coming back here whenever we have friends coming to visit from out of town!
