We had a great time , Joe was amazing And very informative about all the wines we tasted. We met the owner Ed what a very nice man can’t wait to come back again.Nick Lodise and Lisa Pye .
Thank you so much to Ed for introducing us to his beautiful selection of Wines. We were greated by, the sweet, one eyed Otto and enjoyed some of our favorites, which were white sangria, Niagara and Country Red and the Country White!
I've been a fan of the Ullman's wine since the 90's, especially the white wines. They are very drinkable wines, with the Vidal & Seyval being the mainstays. Always interesting was, depending on the harvest each year, I found I might prefer one slightly more than the other, so tasting each year is as important as it is fun. I am quite impressed with the new addition of the Traminette. I like the sweeter wines for cocktail servings, and the dryer with dinners. They have stayed true to theeir goals of producing well valued, drinkable wines. Definately worth the visit.
Wine is very good. We did a taste testing today and the staff member was very informative. We ended up buying a few bottles and plan to be back. Glad we found this place!!
Very knowledgeable server, Joe was great today! Very nice selections of wine grown right on property. Note: the bathroom is a port a potty, plan accordingly!
Excellent wine! This place is great! It's small but full of character and Lisa was extremely nice and knowledgeable and she made me feel very comfortable on my latest visit. There's a nice selection of reds and whites and I've been there several times and it's never packed with people even though it is part of the Bucks County Wine Trail. Their Cabernet Franc won a blind taste test award for the "best tasting PA red wine" last year it is very smooth and the Country Red is wonderful too! The prices are good $10-$18 per bottle as well. Rushland Ridge is definitely a hidden little gem in the heart of Bucks County and shouldn't be missed.
My wife, a friend, and I had a wonderful time at Rushland Ridge sampling wines and learning about the winemaking process from Kip. We visited late in the day, but Kip didn't mind and allowed us the time to taste and explore. He showed us how he prunes the various vines and explained the difficult process of making wine in the PA climate. The four of us even enjoyed the sunset together. All in all it was a great experience. Not to mention the wines are really good. Rarely do I enjoy more than a couple at any vineyard, but we found ourselves leaving with nearly a case. Rita, the resident black lab, is sweet as well, and likes to beg for goldfish.
My friends and I visited this winery for a tasting last week. Host was not very welcoming and told told us we all needed to pay together. 4 people wasn't a problem for us but we noticed she didn't ask other groups to do that. This place is a pour your own tasting. Didn't get any information about the wines and a few tasted like water. Lots of variety but nothing that suited our pallets.
A great place, with great owners. We got a full education on wine when we were here, and were even told up-front, during tasting, which wines weren't great because of the season, which ones were, and what to look for in terms of finish. Can't wait to go back.
Nice pour your own tasting room, no high pressure sales, and they have a super sweet pup. I'll definitely be in here again. Good prices, too.
