Absolutely one of the best companies I have worked with. They are professional and high quality at every step. They are proactive and go above and beyond and if a mistake or miss happens, they are on top of it immediately, no extra cost, and proactive - validating with you constantly to ensure you are happy.
It was our first time owning a home with a slate roof. From the sales person who came out to inspect the roof and provide a quote to the professional roofers who completed the job in two days the experience was great. Both the sales person and installers had gone over everything and assured us our slate roof is in good condition. That assurance alone gave us peace of mind and we would highly recommend Russell Roofing to anyone looking for a roofer.

I had a very good experience working with Russel Roofing to redo my siding and replace the gutter. Everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful. The result looks great, and I'm much more insulated from water damage now.
We had a great experience with Russell Roofing. What we thought was a straightforward roof replacement with TPO was actually pretty complicated as we learned when other roofing companies turned down our job, ghosted us, or gave us a random number after a few minutes of consultation. Russell gave us an in depth quote with satellite imaging and measurements, adhered to the timeline that was given to us, and provided amazing communication in the form of 200+ photos uploaded over the course of the job. Our estimator Travis was great to work with and always available for questions. The work was quick and well done. I hope I’m done with roof problems for a while now but I would recommend Russell to anyone in need of their services.

My experience with Russell Roofing has been great. They are efficient and always professional. They installed a new roof on our house several years ago but, what I really appreciate is that, they didn't disappear. I still call them to ask questions and they never hesitate to come out. They are reliable and transparent about their assessments. I feel confident in their knowledge and experience. I continue to have them conduct yearly roof inspections, which they happily conduct. They treat me like a lifelong customer, which I truly appreciate. They stand behind their work and materials. I especially want to thank Travis Ninzeheltzer. He is always professional and responsive and it's comforting to have someone looking out for us and our home. I strongly recommend the entire Russell team.
EDIT: I've updated my review because although it took an incredibly long time, Russel did eventually quote the job: after publishing this review, I got a call from them the next day and within 9 I had a quote, although it wasn't what I had originally asked for. After asking for an update, it took another 30 days to actually get it, making it a total of 133 days between when I first contacted and when I got the final quote. In the time between writing this review and getting the quote from Russel, I reached out to five other companies and they were all able to provide quotes for the same job within less than two weeks. ------- I wish I could have used Russel Roofing, but I guess my project was too small: they ghosted me and never gave me a quote, after repeatedly stalling and wasting my time, rather than just declining. I requested a quote from Russel to replace a large porch roof with a standing seam metal roof. They had previously done the main house roof for the previous owners and the work was great. The project manager was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and even flew a drone up to survey the entire building. He upsold me on doing some protective work on another part of the roof and I agreed to have it included in the estimate. Great. After several weeks, including a holiday, the project manager called me to tell me he hadn't forgotten about me and was waiting on their "metal guy" for a portion of their quote. Great. More than a month goes buy. I ask the project manager if there's any update, he says he'll have "everything to you by tomorrow". Two days go by, he says he'll have everything together "this week", I get nothing. Finally he stops responding to my texts entirely. I even called the office and asked to speak to a sales manager. I was told all the salespeople happened to be in a meeting right then how convenient but that they would make a note for the sales manager and the project manager to give me a call. Guess what, two weeks have gone by now, and I've gotten no call from either of them. I'm perplexed because while my project wasn't massive, it wasn't going to be cheap either. I guess Russel is only interested in the absolute biggest jobs, but they could have at least done me the courtesy of saying so two months ago, instead of stringing me along. Don't waste your time on them!
Russell Roofing is simply the best! From the initial sales call to the final “walk through” of the project, they were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. Excellent quality and even better service!
