The Law Firm of Scamardella, Gervasi, Thomson & Kasegrande, P.C. was founded in 1954 and is now one of Staten Island's largest and longest established law firms. Managing partner, Robert J. Scamardella, who focuses in elder law and transactional law, joined the firm in 1984. Michael V. Gervasi, who practices personal injury, business related lawsuits, and divorces joined the firm in 2002. James H. Thomson, who handles all real estate closings, leases, and commercial and business transactions, joined the firm in 2006. Leslie B. Kasegrande, formerly in-house counsel at the New York Stock Exchange, practices estate planning and administration at the firm since 2009. Linda Victorio, an associate with the firm since 2008, handles divorce and general litigation. James F. West, an associate focusing on real estate and business law, joined the firm in 2016. In addition to its six attorneys, the firm employs a support staff of eight experienced legal assistants. The Firm owns its own 4,200 sq. foot handicap accessible building with ample parking in private lot.
