Where do we begin? The Rusty Gypsy , specializing in furniture restoration and Home Decor. RG has a bit of everything, Courtney and her hubby find amazing items to restore and place in their store for people to enjoy for years to come. The detail show as you browse their store. A huge open space in Downtown Upland., with a French Quarter vibe, decorating ideas, vintage pieces and even a custom line of paints that can be purchased for you, if you choose to take on your own DIY projects. Courtney takes pride in visual merchandising as you browse and get so many decorating ideas, as well as great gifts ideas. Being an artist herself, Courtney also loves to lend support to local artists by selling various original artworks from local artists. Supporting local small business has never been so important, as they are the backbone of our economy.
why do you have a slur in your store name?
0ver 4 months ago we purchased an interior architectural piece from the Rusty Gypsy for about $350. We had traveled to Ontario on business and found this store on our way for lunch in nearby Upland. As we could not take the item with us on the airplane, we asked that they calculate shipping costs so we could arrange delivery to Northern California. We have called them at least 6 times over the last several months asking for shipping arrangements and despite assurances from owners Courtney and Rudy Zunga, no progress has been made in shipping. A month ago, Courtney explained to me that she had been absent from the shop and that without her, Rudy has “difficulty following through on projects”. It seems they both do. So today I have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges. This entire thing has become a a major hassle. Recent phone messages have gone unanswered. Not sure if they are crooks, or just lazy. Ridiculous!
The women how runs this store is fantastic! She helped me put my house together and did a wonderful job. And all the stuff in her store is really well done and very reasonably priced
Really interesting place with lots of mirrors and antiques. It's quiet and relaxing. It is quite spacious and welcoming. Would recommend if you're looking for vintage and architectural home decor.
Love that they do custome work, painting building and just repurposing or altering pieces of furniture. The painting workshops are fun, I've taken all 3!!
Love all there items, she is so kind and professional always willing to help or lend and helping hand, and very pet friendly
Lovely one of a kind pieces and an assortment of unique accessories. When in the area it is a MUST STOP IN.
My go-to place for finding amazing antiques. Definitely check this place out.
