This place is tiny and intimate, but offers a wealth of traditional Thai & Lao dishes. The service is fantastic and friendly. Every dish I've had has offered an explosion of flavors.
This place was delicious. Felt like home cooked food. Service was great and quick. These items were recommended to us. They were items numbers 44 and 45.
Great authentic food! Small venue but the service was attentive -- they made a recommendation for me which was delicious.
Small quaint place service decent food with marginal.
The food in this restaurant is delicious and unique flavors.
Loooved how authentic, and cozy this place is! They have a great variety of options on the menu. I got drunken noodles, and it was okay... a bit bland and tasted kind of weird with the cabbage, but my bf said his dish was really good so maybe I just need to try something else. I would still recommend going here
This is an excellent little neighborhood Lao place. It also serves familiar Thai food as well; it's all quite delicious. The eat-in space is quite small, but you can order from a greatly extended Lao menu if you do sit down.
Based on the food alone this place deserves 5 stars. But when you add in the service - you gonna need more stars. My girlfriend and I walked in after a day of bear hunting at the local zoo and got more than we bargained for. The restaurant owner engaged us in great conversation and even taught us some Laotian. It felt like being home. Get number 44, you won’t be sorry!
HATE this place and feel totally misled by the other positive reviews. Genuinely shocked at how poor quality the food was. If I can make better curry than a Thai restaurant that's a problem, but one I can forgive. But making both of us SICK afterwards was the linchpin to this awful experience. What could be worse than actually paying for your own discomfort??
I LOVE this place! My friend and I walked into this place not knowing what to expect. The restaurant owner is a delightful lady! Not only was everything she cooked delicious and home made, but she also engaged us in a fantastic conversation about her article on Washington Post, stories about Laos and taught us phrases in her native language. Nowhere do you get this hospitality and home cooked meal! Reminded me of my mother . Kob Chai Lai Lai thank you :
