Sachs Center is the best. I had neurofeedback and the results changed my life. Dr George is an amazing person and an amazing psychologist. I recommend his practice to anyone who wants to be a better version of themselves
They pose as a legitimate business but they don’t even have a fax machine and refuse to share their results with other clinicians. My doctor’s office takes HIPPA seriously so they won’t accept emails, they only accept faxes from other offices. This has delayed my care and caused my provider to doubt the credibility of this office and even my assessment results. I can’t just switch providers, this is the only one I have access to in the state due to my situation. It’s poor business practice and also unethical to put the burden of sharing their results with medical professionals 100% onto your highly marginalized neurodivergent population. Go somewhere else for your assessment, it’s not worth it to go here. Waste of time and money. Not even convinced this is a legitimate assessment office at this point because what did it get me? Now I probably need to go somewhere else for an assessment anyway.
Dr. Sachs and his team are excellent psychologists who really know about autism and ADHD. You will not be disappointed! ~ JAM
I might not remember being diagnosed with autism at an early age but I found that Dr. Sachs is the one. After my diagnosis evaluation as an adult, I can finally say that I'm proud to be an Aspie, thanks to Leila Ostad, a colleague of Dr. Sachs, for finally validating my self-discovery. While I have the right to keep my diagnosis to myself, I also feel encouraged to keep my doors open to many endless options and possibilities. This amazing place not only supports neurodiversity but also breaks the stigma for anyone who wants to open up. I highly recommend Dr. George Sachs Center.
Dr, krauss was very friendly and kind and spent a lot of time explaining what ADHD is and what I can do to better manage it
I was a client of Sachs Center in March 2022 and greatly appreciated the kindness they showed me in my evaluation for ASD. I definitely recommend this practice.
I love this place. They Are so patient and compassionate. I've been to other doctors that made me feel bad about myself. But not here.
Dr. George Sachs is an excellent, empathetic, and caring therapist. He has a great deal of patients and understanding, as well as a deep knowledge of the issues surrounding ADHD. I am a university student and he greatly assisted me in my endeavors to gain accommodations for my needs, which were ultimately successful. He keeps current on the most recent diagnostic tools for ADHD, as well as being well-versed in various treatment approaches. I would recommend Dr Sachs to anyone seeking a thorough, compassionate, and effective expert on ADHD.
I am a new patient of Dr. Sachs he is a kind, compassionate, and a supportive psychologist. When I came to him, I was looking for someone to help me overcome some anxieties and depression. Through his careful listening and perceptive observations, he was able to reflect back to me a more compassionate view of myself and challenged some ideas that were not serving me well. More than just a listening ear, Dr. Sachs wisely noticed trends and made clever connections between my experiences.
I have known George Sachs and several employees of the Sachs Center for almost ten years and I have only the most positive things to say about them. Dr. Sachs is a trusted leader in the field of ADHD, Aspergers and Autism. He is an amazing therapist and works well with children, adolescents and adults alike. In addition, he is extremely knowledgeable with neuropsychological testing. He keeps current with technology and research. I use his books in my practice, I recommend them to clinicians and clients as well. In addition to being very knowledgeable, he is extremely easy to speak to. He is responsive, genuine and fair. He has been an amazing mentor to me and my practice and I plan to remain in contact with the Sachs Center as I continue my work in psychotherapy and neurofeedback.
