RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! ADT and Safe Haven are an absolute scam. Very misleading with their advertising. They improperly installed our devices. Fire alarm was installed directly out side of bathroom door and continuously went off because the technician installed it in the wrong location. Door sensors constantly malfunctioning and improperly installed. Then we come to find out all of our window sensors are improperly installed so that if someone was to break in and open a window the alarm would never sound. They have had to come back to my home numerous times to fix issues that their technicians have made. It got to the point where my husband contacted the BBB and they weren’t even willing to work with us through the BBB. The equipment is absolute trash and hasn’t functioned properly from day one. We are stuck in a contract with this awful company. Recently when I called because our door locks are now mis functioning they want to charge me at $50 service fee to come out. Which I would have no issue paying if it wasn’t for it being their equipment that has issues continuously due to no fault of our own. I hope I could save someone the headache by writing this review. Please don’t make the same mistake we did. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company runs scams through door knocking salesmen who prey on good people. They tried to tell me I was getting $5k in monitoring equipment, when the actual price is probably about $500 tops. Once the installer came, he put in a used control unit and 11 door/window sensors after trying to upsell shock sensors that would actually protect my home at $50/per. Avoid this company at all costs. I cancelled immediately and installed my own system.

The installer came in and cut my wires doorbell while installing the new smart one then told me I needed to call an electrician. The smart lock installed on my door is loose and coming off. It’s been less than three weeks. I’ve called or email every day and gotten no response! DO NOT BUY FROM ALISON BITZER OR BITNER with the Alabama zip code. She will never respond to you again.

We were familiar with ADT as it was at our last address so we were excited to have Peter Ross come and install it at our new home. He was very knowledgeable and very easy to get along with. I didn’t feel funny at all with him here and he went over everything to where I could understand. He was neat with his work and was really efficient with his time. Peter communicated quickly and as a veteran I felt appreciated and that was something we had in common. He helped us with placement of our cameras and advised us well when it came to products. I would have him back in my home anytime! It’s safe to say that it was the only male technician that has ever come to the house that I felt comfortable with after my husband left. He is very respectful and like I said really knowledgeable about how everything works.

Dan Elliott was our installer and he was great! Very personable and genuine. Did great work. Was professional. Made us feel like he was going to be there for us long term. Has helped via text since installation to troubleshoot. Only issue was they had a different person come out to install the garage and gave the poor guy a version of the garage sensor thats a million steps to install and wouldn't let the guy leave until he had it set up. He DID get it set up finally and he was friendly and helpful too. Overall we are happy with the service.

Marquis Johnson was amazing to work with and to have my security system installed by. Marquis was extremely knowledgeable and he was very patient with answering my multiple questions. He was early and worked diligently as he never cut corners in how he installed all aspects of my new system. What I truly appreciated most was his advice on other options that ADT provided which would help me have the safety and security I desired. I never felt he was trying to get me to buy what he wanted but instead with each choice he asked “ok why this….”and then he would explain what each feature did and how the equipment could work for me. He cleaned up after himself and respected my home. This was my first time using ADT and Marquis really made it a wonderful experience and I’ll definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Our installer was amazing, very well versed in Safe Haven's Security abilities as well as his knowledge base of the products they support and sell. Jonathan Saxon is a great representative of ADT as an Authorized Dealer and should be someone others emulate as they are out working with new or old customers. Appreciate all of his time and efforts with his installation of our equipment, as well as answering questions and educating us on all the different products they support and sale. He left making sure we were confident in our equipment and proper use of everything. Overall, he was punctual, confident in his instillation, patient with our questions and very professional throughout his visit. Thanks again for representing your company is such a manor that it removes doubt for our decision on using ADT.

This company was great to work with from sales down to installation. We met with Stanley and he provided us with a ton of knowledge on home invasions and recommended products he thought would best suit our home in specific. The customer service representative over the phone made it quick and easy as well! Stanley was able to schedule us a for a quick, next day install! Our installer Erick Olivar was timely, efficient and also offered he insight on products that would be beneficial to our home. Great company and happy to be part of the ADT family!

We recently had a smart home installation package with John Lucas who was absolutely phenomenal. John is knowledgeable, passionate, and efficient. He treated us with great respect even though we did not sign up for security monitoring. A job well done by a strong employee and a good person. We would be happy to have him back to service our home!

Hunter Garrett was absolutely amazing all around. Hunter educated me about the entire system and exactly what he had to do for the installation. He went over every option with me. He guided me through the entire process the entire time he was at my house! Hunter is the absolute best technician I HAVE EVER MET! HUNTER IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST! THANK YOU HUNTER GARRETT. I GREATLY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU TAUGHT YOU AND FOR INSTALLING MY EQUIPMENT FOR ME TODAY!
