Very convenient service. On TV they make it seem like you can get same day service. I had to wait 3 days. But the technician was nice and vacuumed up all the shattered glass
As far as the windshield replacement goes it was done well. But I used the drop and go option and when I returned to my vehicle after their work someone had clearly tampered with the interior. My mirrors and seat were adjusted a great deal, air was blowing on maximum and I have a hazard light for my left headlight which wasn't there before. Nothing missing from the inside but I don't appreciate someone tampering when the windshield has nothing to do with the inside.
I had an appointment scheduled from 8-12, no one reached to me let me know whether the tech was coming, I had to call 4 times to finally get someone to help me and get the tech out to my address. The tech did not arrive until after 1 pm.. when I scheduled the appointment the lady on the phone stated if they can not repair the windshield they would replace it,so the tech gets here and can’t fix the window. This took up my whole day , they have very bad customer services, they do not keep the customer updated. It’s simple to give customers real expectations. I had my windshield replaced 1 week ago. They came to my home to replace the windshield. Weather was decent, no rain. 5 days later we get torrential rain and wind and water is leaking throughout an unsealed area of my windshield. The carpet is soaked, the electrical panel starts fading in and out. I can actually hear the wind coming into the car when I drive. I called the morning I noticed the issue and was assured someone would get in touch with me and they would make sure my car and damages are assessed and repaired. 3 days later, 4 phone calls with Safelite for scheduling my windshield and an ask for a manager and still nothing has been addressed. I was told the manager was on vacation and Noone is covering him that can help me. My scheduled windshield revision is a whole 10 days later and its going to rain again. You would think Customer service and concerns of said service that was paid out of pocket on my very expensive BMW would have been addressed. But no. I used Safelite in the past and have never had an issue. But this is ridiculous. My next stop will be the Better Business Bureau. I am very disappointed.Service: Auto windshield replacement
This is a review about how poor customer service saved me almost $200. I scheduled an appointment with Safelite to replace my windshield. The technician came to my house on time, but parked blocking my neighbors' driveway. When I asked him not to block the driveway, he got upset and told me that he had to park there, otherwise he wouldn't be able to replace the windshield. In an effort to avoid confrontation and his bad attitude I called Safelite again and asked them to send me a new technician. Since they didn't have anyone else available, they had to schedule the job for a week later. During that time I decided to get a quote from a local shop. Safelite was charging me $424.71; while the local shop charged $260.00, they provided excellent customer service and they were able to do it the next day. Moral of the story, definitely get a quote from some of the local shops, you might be able to save half of the cost and get better service.Service: Auto windshield replacement
Super easy to schedule windshield replacement. Scheduled online, dropped off and picked up vehicles in an hour or two. Really easy to change appointment time through text. Very friendly staff inside the office. Had to wait a little while to find someone one visit. But usually very good. Great windshield wiper warranty. Will use them again.
The staff is a delight. The tech was efficient. The coffee was free. The McDonald's across the park8ng lot pl y s safelites free wifi made the time it took fly by.
Edit: They wanted more than double what the average place charged. They were more concerned with upselling than actually fixing the problem. They took forever to get back to me. Try getting someone on the phone to help in less than 4 hours.
