What SafeRide does it priceless. For less than the cost of a round trip Uber, you can get a driver to come get you and drive you and your car home!! They serve all of the Metro Atlanta area! Give them a call! Don't drink and drive - it's not worth it.
I had a great experience working as a volunteer chase driver for Saferide america! This is definitely a good place to get community service hours fast and I loved helping people get home safe. I plan to actually use this service for myself soon, they drive you and your car home and it’s cheaper than uber or lyft!
Saferide America is a great company! The service they provide is essential for keeping our communities safe. Highly recommend
Had a great experience volunteering for this organization. Staff Atlanta was friendly, easy going, helpful, and well organized. I volunteered as a chase driver. Chase drivers use their own car to transport a Saferide employee to an impaired person's location. The Saferide employee then drives that person home in their own car. The chase driver follows and then drives the Saferide employee back to their post. This was not only a great opportunity to complete community service hours quickly 6-10 hour at a time, but also felt good performing service in helping people get home safely. I was able to complete my time in several night shifts over a couple of weeks, without interfering with my 9-5.
Saferide consistently provides exceptional service. The convenience of being able to schedule a ride both on-demand as well as in advance allows for the opportunity to plan ahead. They are by far my only choice for a ride service!
I worked as a volunteer chase driver and it was a great experience and great for community service hours- on top of that, I plan to start using Saferide and I would advise you to as well as it gets you AND your car home safe for the same price as an Uber!
This company goes above and beyond expectations making sure intoxicated patrons make it safely to their homes. They arrive on time and are already aware of the patrons vehicle they will be driving for the smoothest traction ever. Very clean drivers with increased sanitizing protocols before entering the vehicles and also after exiting. On a scale of 1-10, a 10+!!! Let SafeRide America get you home safe and remember, NEVER DRIVE DRUNK!!
Had a great experience volunteering for this organization. Zach Atlanta dispatch was very friendly and easy to work with. I volunteered as a chase driver. Chase drivers use their own car to transport a Saferide employee to an impaired person's location. The Saferide employee then drives that person home in their own car. The chase driver follows and then drives the Saferide employee back to their post. This is a great opportunity for you if you want to complete community service hours in fewer shifts. Many of the other opportunities for volunteering elsewhere were for only 2-4 hours and took place on weekday mornings. Chase driver shifts are between 6-10 hours and were available every night of the week, so I was able to complete my time in just a few shifts over a couple of weeks. It's also good if you're a night owl type or you don't mind late nights. Shifts start between 6 and 8 pm and typically end between 2-4 am. I work a day job where the hours are usually between 10am-6pm, so this was perfect for me. I highly recommend this if you are looking to complete community service hours. You will help prevent people from endangering themselves/others or getting arrested for DUI.
