Safeway

The staff is friendly and very helpful. I find most of what I want, but I can count on looking for something that's not in stock This is annoying because I live .5 miles away, and walking, and won't go back the next day to look again. All in all, it's pretty good. Location is convenient for the neighborhood, though there is no Metro nearby and parking is difficult most times. There is a great True Value hardware store across the street

It's a typical grocery store, nothing more. But it's conveniently located, and the staff are very helpful. I used to get the banana pudding from the deli a lot, but it turns out there's no banana in it.

Lots of common items not in stock, but unnecessary items are always available. For example, plain Greek yogurt not available but vanilla flavored was abundant.

This is the only grocery store I will stop at well in town from Detroit area. I am here in DC a lot and just love the service I get here and the store is always clean.

Very convenient store, I found everything I need and bought some extra that I didn't have on my list but very happy I got them.
