Safeway

This is my first time using the curbside pick up at Safeway. I gotta be honest. This is the worst curbside service I’ve ever had. Had a morning pick up and we got told that they would be three hours late because one single employee didn’t come in today. Like what company puts everything on one person shoulders? Three hours later we call and they’re barely starting to even pick up orders. It’s six hours later and I’m sitting in the parking lot for the last 30 minutes waiting for this order to come out, even though I called them before I came to verify it was ready. I’m the only car here for!!

Alicia at the Starbucks location here is an exceptional barista. I experienced myself with an awesome customer service. And I also experienced her patience and customer to a customer over the phone. The customer requested courtesy from 4 weeks ago I didn't believe the customer waited so long. Alicia gave her the benefit of the doubt and graciously services her.

Ashley is amazing. I came to the store on a Saturday afternoon and she handled her line like a freaking champ. There were only 2 checkout lines open NEWSFLASH: self checkout is not the answer for keeping the lines short or moving people through faster. All the lines were backed up and Ashley had a customer who clearly did not understand how to use the digital coupons, the in store coupons, or the app. She called for help, several times, but no one came. She managed to get the customer out of her line, with expert skill, and was calm under the pressure. Ashley deserves a raise and all the accolades I can muster. She is an incredible asset to Safeway and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

Large selections of common items. The lines are always very short and quick even on new year's eve night! If you need something quick, Safeway is faster than Fry's.

In case you were wondering, this Safeway has a hot wing bar. I got tired of stopping by only to find out many stores do not have them so I decided to write reviews to keep track.

Nice clean place and good customer service. Prices are a little high but not to out of line with other stores in the area.

OCT 11,2023 There milk so pricy 5.99 and expired tried telling everyone at store nobody cared tried calling after i. Got home almost all the milk is dated to oct 2 or 4 SMH BE CAREFUL WHIT WHAT YOU BUY PEOPLE

Bakery needs to put out more take and bake Italian bread I would appreciate that. Deli ,wing bar needed to be refreshed for the people trying to get some non dried up wings ! Customer service was on point front end good job on the self check out.

I use the pharmacy here and when Lisa was the pharmacist it was amazing! So I didn’t mind the higher prices and would shop at this Safeway all the time. The new pharmacist is absolutely horrible and goes out of her way to make everything more difficult but it’s ok she gives you a store gift card for $15 and that makes everything all better! NOT! I have had to go days without my meds because they don’t know their head from a whole in the ground! Safeway store seems to have gone way down as well this location the cashiers and workers are completely over their job and really don’t care about you or customer service! The parking lot is loaded with homeless and beggars and if you don’t give them money they get violent and Safeway does nothing. It’s a shame I now drive 30 minutes to do my shopping at fry’s in chandler management at this location needs to do better with the staff and first and fore most get a competent Pharmacist.

Second time now where this store has just decided to not process a delivery order that I’ve placed. It’s been a whole runaround from the store and the corporate customer service line with zero actual resolution.
