What a legendary place! We had our company party there with Stan Shady and the show was really good. Food was not that bad for a buffet made for 500people to be honest. The place is really great with a special mention for the upper level that gives an elevated view on the main stage and room.
There’s nothing like a show at St. Andrew’s! I’ve been to multiple shows here and it’s definitely one of my favourite venues in Detroit with Matisyahu, and Judah and the lion being my favourite acts so far. The venue is perfectly placed in downtown Detroit, the venue itself is beautiful and great acoustics. I would highly recommend checking it out if an artist you enjoy is playing there. The security have always been kind and non intrusive to the enjoyment of the night. 10/10 would recommend and hope to return again myself soon.
Saw Guster at this venue in mid November. The venue is small enough that you still have a decent view even from the back but with that being said, general admission can feel a bit cramped with a sold out show like this. If you're not a fan of sardine style show viewing, id definitely recommend splurging for the balcony seats. The staff I interacted with were polite and overall no real complaints about the venue itself or the staff.
A really great venue. There is general admission standing on the floor, VIP and VIP reserved. VIP gets you ok to the balcony with festival seating/standing. VIP reserved gets you a reserved seat on the Balcony directly facing the stage. Would strongly recommend one of the VIP packages, much less crowded and gets you access to the upstairs bar and bathrooms.
Good concert hall for up and coming artists. Had to wait in an absurdly long line outside before they let us in for the show. Tickets said show starts at 7 when they really should have said doors open at 7 and show starts at 8.
Had a great time seeing CARR and The Wrecks. Special shout out to the bartender Q. He is so awesome and welcoming and made my experience at St Andrew’s Hall all the better. My friend and I literally kept going back to him the entire night because of how nice he is. Thank you Q, hope to see you and more great artists again soon.
Wes from security did the best job I’ve ever seen at making us comfortable before the show. He was kind and courteous and knowledgeable. I loved the venue and will go back.
Fun small music venue in Detroit. Greer place to hear live music! I’ve seen several concerts here from the 80’s to now and I loved every one of them.
The old gem looks great since getting some updates. Slight problems w/ tablets while trying to pay to go upstairs, also an extra $20 more if I want a seat in addition to the $35 on top of the ticket. One of my favorite venues in Detroit!
5 stars isn't enough for this venue. We had an amazing experience. I passed out in the crowd, and immediately was surrounded by countless security personnel and staff members. Wes was unbelievably helpful, and made sure that I was safe and comfortable. He brought me a chair, plenty of water, and even gave my partner and I passes to the seated balcony area in case I needed to sit. I cannot express how helpful and how kind every staff member at this venue was to me. I have never felt as safe and secure at a concert as I did at St. Andrew's. Their staff is an insanely friendly, kind, and caring group of people ::
