Sake Sushi

I used to dine in this sushi restaurant all the time prior to the COVID pandemic. I finally came back today after a long hiatus. This place is just as I remembered it. The waitstaff is attentive and food is great. I have always gotten fresh and delicious sushi every single time. The establishment is clean, they have a very extensive menu and the prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend and I will definitely come back again in near future.

Save your yourself! The tuna had gone bad, it tasted moldy .. I figured if I avoided the tuna rolls it would be okay but ended up getting food poisoning with the other rolls. Also pictured is the eel to avocado proportions in an EEL roll. . I know this sushi was the culprit because it was the only thing I ate. Will not be returning ever again. I used to eat sushi every week in my old neighborhood, sadly there are no good sushi places in Kensington.

The food is decent. However, the service is terrible!! I placed an order on Uber Eats. Sometimes they follow the notes, others they do not. I called a few times and was told that they received the order notes. Therefore, I didn't think it was necessary to call the following time I ordered. Needless to say they did not follow the note at all. However what was more disheartening is the rude response I received from the worker. At one point she began speaking to her coworker and laughing about the situation. She then very rudly stated that she had just come in and didn't make it. Before providing a solution, she hung up the phone. Assuming this had to be an error, I called back at which point she picked up and hung up on me without speaking an additional 3 times! How rude! I've never had a restaurant mess up my order and then get made and disrespect the customer. My teacher friends have recommended Wasabi 86th street. Great food, and much better customer service.

Yummmyyyyy I always complain when they do my order so when I ordered over the phone they already knew me so they did my order exactly how I love it ! Cooked everything how I like it ; I guess u just need to tel them how cooked u want certain things and me mindful that everyone likes it different especially when it comes to sushi and raw fish or cooked food and how well done or over done u want it.

This place has GREAT Sushi! I wasn't expecting much from this place, but I'm shocked they have fresh and tasty sushi. Usually most Brooklyn sushi places are average at best, and somewhat pricy. This place is just great. The prices aren't high, and the sushi is fresh. I'm not a fan of the ambience of the restaurant, but it's clean and service is great. They really just need to sand the walls down and use flat paint. The gloss paint shows all the imperfections, and makes it seem like a run down Chinese restaurant.

Delivery drivers are extremely rude and are ready to scam you out of money. I ordered $30 worth of food gave him a $50 note he started walking. I asked for my change, he said he had no change.

Asked for extra shrimp in Tom yum soup, don’t know how they define extra but I just found literally one piece of shrimp in the whole soup. Other than that, foods taste good overall and fast delivery. Would like them to be more organized and clean about online delivery.

The sushi roll was good but the bento boxes were poor. The food wasn’t very authentic Japanese food even included Chinese dumplings.

Bland sushi, rude to customers. Several orders, both online and on phone, I requested no disposables which they ignored, sending plastic utensils and chopsticks that I don't need I'm at home, why would I need them? Plus, it's needlessly wasteful. When I called to complain, the person on the phone said "they don't look at the special instructions" on the online orders they apparently don't for phone orders, either. I also complained that my calamari order, at $7.95, had a stingy 8 pieces in it, which comes to a dollar a piece see below. She talked to the chef and he said he always adds 9, which is still stingy, but in this case, wrong. When I tried to reiterate that mine had less than that she interrupted me, several times, and would not listen to what I had to say. I've worked in restaurants and this kind of adversarial attitude towards customers is unacceptable. I would have been fired for talking to a guest like this. When she continued to talk over me, I lost my temper, yelled at her, and hung up, which is not cool, I admit: ordering from here put me in a bad mood. There are not many great food options in this neighborhood, but it would be better to patronize somewhere else. Judging from other reviews, if they make a mistake with your order, they'll blame you. I won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered chicken tempura rolls recently and loved it. Good to order during the lunchtime to get a good deal.
