Ive been going to Sal's for over 20 years now. I have 2 sons and my youngest who's 12 got his first experience of a Sals single slice of pizza looks like 1/4 of a pizza. Besides the size of slice his favorite thing by far was the crust and how soft it was. Nice to have 2 generations of children to share a place with.Food: 4/5
I ordered extra large pizza with mushroom and buffalo grilled chicken and another with mushroom and steak. Well, the mushroom with buffalo chicken had no pizza sauce except for this spicy sauce that was squeezed on top of it and it was not good at all. Too hot and spicy. I wanted buffalo grilled chicken meat not buffalo sauce on top of everything. The steak didn't taste like steak... I don't know if meat was old or junk. I won't be ordering again.
Always friendly service and dependable delivery. Sometimes topping ratios are better than others this time was great! but always delicious!Food: 5/5
Being from NYC, I find it hard to believe that I am giving pizza in NH a 5-star rating. Everything, from crust to sauce, cheese, and toppings, were all top-notch. I am told that this Sal's is not really part of the Sal's chain in NE. They still use their old oven rather than what the other Sal's "upgraded" to. I love pizza! We will return... often.
I really like the pizza style that Sals offers. They have big slices, and the crust is thin like I like it. The people that work there are always nice to me and my whole family when we go to eat there. The variety of ready to go slices at lunch and dinner time is always good. You can pick and choose from most of their specialty pies, and they reheat the slices while you wait. It is always nice to go eat there or get the pizza to go. My favorite is the buffalo chicken slices. The sauce isn't overwhelming, and it's always crispy like I like it. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a good solid ramp to the main entrance, and it has a railing.
I visited years ago with my son and we both enjoyed our pizza . I'm not a big fan of pizza anymore but my kids are! I visited again with my daughter and she devoured her slice of cheese pizza! Service was great ! The differences between the Sal's in Derry and Hooksett are that though Derry has its own building, larger menu, looks more modern and has a recycle bin, Sal's in Derry is not kept very clean, has less seating and tighter parking than Hooksett. The only disappointment my daughter had was the "Pizza Elmo" on the counter didn't work! She tried the button multiple times but,"Nope!", Elmo and the pizza wouldn't sing. Either it doesn't work or the staff are tired of listening to it. I recommend this Sal's Pizza franchise. Check first if they accept rewards or deals from the Sal's app. Vegetarian options: I don't know if they have non-dairy cheese available. Dietary restrictions: Be aware of your dietary limitations ahead of time before ordering. I didn't see any information ℹ on the menu board about "gluten free" or calories. Parking: Shared parking lot with another business. Kid-friendliness: Families welcomed! Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with ramp. Door is not automatic.
Love the pizza and the guys making it and serving it. It's hard to find a pizza place that will make you want to come back for more and the guys deff make you want to come back super friendly and funny . The ambiance is ok it's chill I won't lie but it's just ok other than that no complaints.Food: 5/5
Absolutely love their food, amazing pizza and garlic bread. Friendly staff and comfortable seating. Nearby other convenient destinations. Unrelated, I am obsessed with the bathroom at the end of the hall.Food: 5/5
Traveling through the area on business. Looked up several pizza places and decided to try Sal’s. I lost. Painfully average pizza and service. The empty interior at lunch time should have been an indicator. And to add insult to injury they only sell their slices by the quarter, meaning if you want 2 different topped slices, you have to buy 4 slices. So this is probably one of the most ridiculous business decisions I have heard of, so bad I am not even curious why. Prices are very good however.
I walked into the place and was pretty much ignored. Said hello to the guys behind the counter 3 times before being Acknowledge. Worse pizza I have ever had. Dry, burnt, very little toppings. Took forever to get. The guy cooking it should also wear a beard net. On a positive note the soda was cold so there ya go.Food: 1/5
