Salem / Lisbon KOA

Stayed here this weekend. Ran out of propane at 10pm and the owners were so great in coming to the office to get a replacement! Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

A great KOA Campground it has a little store and a place to eat outdoor playgrounds for the children a real good deal but expensive

Owners and staff are very helpful even when problems arise that has nothing to do with the campground at all. Winter was and is brutal, been here a couple months and our water froze multiple times but that had nothing to do w koa, it was our pipes freezing and hot water heater had to be fixed. We had to insulate around our camper and the owner took our water heater paperwork to another tenant and sent someone to help us out and again it wasn't KOA fault or job. These people are very kind, help or advise on things or give referral for anything you may need fixed or even how to make things easier on us. Water easy fix, husband bought propane heater and imediately unfroze our pipes. For us it was trial and error and koa helped all along the way and didn't have to at all. Very quiet here. Wonderful koa people. Only had issues because of the brutal winter and negative temperatures constantly. Other than hating the weather, this is a koa who goes above and beyond and always willing to help. Wish I had been here in the summer bc they have a huge, deep pool and also all connected but a smaller pool area for the little kiddos. Playground looks nice...laundry facility and shower rooms are nice, clean and plenty of Hot water for a long shower...dogs are allowed. They keep property clean and management doesn't complain, however if you smoke like us, be courteous to pick up cig butts and get a bucket w sand to throw them in and no trash laying around. All conveniently located to office, shower, laundry, playground and pool, dumpster, propane refills , and they even have a little store inside the office you can purchase like pizza, snacks, accessories for RV, shampoo, conditioner etc. Little things that save trips to the store. Propane extremely cheap or option to connect to their site propane and just pay amount used. Free cable and water...wifi pretty good, you pay your own electric but very cheap and basically pays itself with free cable, wifi and water at no charge. Everything constantly in renovation mode just to be more appealing and obviously they take pride in what they do. Price here is beyond reasonable. I'd advise staying here long term.
