I had my face wax done.. I was telling the lady that wax is too hot.. she wasn't listening at all. I mentioned my skin is sensitive. Now my face is full cuts and bruises. It's burning and bleeding. It's really bad experience. I paid £20 and got so much pain and my face is all ruined.
I come to this salon for a bit over a year now. I've tried the hair dye, hair cut and massage services. The ladies work well together, what is a bit strange is that if you come for a haircut the wash, cut and blow dry might be all done by someone else. But usually it's a good experience. I really like Chamila's therapeutic massage, she really has a good feel for where the body needs to release tension. The salon has a loyalty points card and you get a stamp after each treatment. However lately they introduced the booksy app which regularly offers a discount if you book there, but there seem to be a confusion if they give you loyalty points or not. Few times I booked on booksy and got points, last time I booked a longer, more expensive treatment I was told that because I booked on booksy with a discount I couldn't get loyalty points. This was a bit of a butter surprise after a relaxing massage. I don't think that's a big difference if you give a stamp or not because if youd complete the stamps and get the 20 minutes bonus treatment altogether it would come out as if you'd get a 1-3% discount on all treatments. Anyways it isn't a big deal but it's just a bit odd that I wasn't made aware of this before the treatment. I understand you can't give a lot of discounts but as a customer if I am aware of this I may have chosen another salon who do similar price if I'm not getting stamp for my loyalty. After all the point of that card is to draw your regulars in. Especially if I'd gone for a lower price treatment on full price I'd have a stamp but having paid almost twice I don't because I got a 10% discount and an extra 2% one off would have been too much. Just something for the owner to consider.
Avoid! I had my waxing done at this salon and they tore my skin. I had two ladies waxing me at the time which I thought was strange. It was so painful, I wondered what had happened. The two ladies started to talk in their own language and I heard the word torn. I got home and realised what had happened. I complained to the manager and she said she would investigate. This place was ok. Used lavender wax but they ripped some of my skin and did not get all the hair off. Won’t be coming back for waxing here again. Also was super expensive.

I had a lash lift with Jasmine and she was amazing. Usually where i get my lashes done it will be quite painful and very irritating to my eyes, this pretty much felt like nothing. She was super friendly and lovely, made sure I was comfortable and had amazing technique. My lashes look better than they ever have, I was actually surprised when i looked in the mirror. Cant stress enough what a good experience it was.

I had my full legs, underarms and Hollywood done yesterday ahead of my holiday. I’m so disappointed, the ladies were nice and friendly but they have missed so much hair, I’ve had to tweeze some hairs but for the big patches of hair I’ve had to shave today, looks like I’ll be packing my razor I my suitcase after all! I had two ladies waxing me at the same time which was a bit much for senses. Someone kept knocking and talking through the door which just felt a but unprofessional! I won’t be returning!
