Salon 58

I have been going to Mary S. since she's been in Salon 58 and for years before that too. I wear my hair very short and she does a great job! She really pays attention to the detail so that I get wonderful comments ALL the time about my hair cuts! Mary takes pride in helping you to look your best because she would want the same for herself. Thanks Mary! I appreciate you!

I've been getting my hair cut with Lynn for the last two years and will never use anyone else again! I love how she actually takes the time to think about styles for me in between cuts, and she givea me something a little different each time, even if it's a small change. She is sweet and always positive - adore her! She recently moved to Salon 58 and I was pleasantly surprised at how chic the decor is inside the unassuming strip mall. It's a great space, modern decor and always really clean. Love!

I was in the area and needed a trim and called for a walk in. They said they could get me in within an hour. Meg was my stylist and she was wonderful. She is Very attentive and pays close attention to detail. My hair was also horrendous - I hacked it myself after a terrible visit to a cost cutters- and dry- and she fixed it beautifully and didn’t make me feel embarrassed about my previously gross hair. I left the salon feeling great and my hair is now refreshed and moisturized

I have been going to Salon 58 prior to the opening of their newest location at 58th and Wadsworth. My stylist is what I would call a color expert and creative stylist. She has been cutting, coloring and styling my hair for many years. What I like about the salon is that they listen to you. They have great creative ideas and are honest about a cut or color that compliments you and the shape of your face. The atmosphere is very pleasant. You feel like you can just relax, kick back and let them create a "new" you or the "same" you and style that you love. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else or trusting anyone else.

Mary Shugrue is one of the stylists at Salon 58. I've been going to Mary for several years and she always does a great job with my hair. The haircut that I received today was trendy and exactly what I wanted for my upcoming vacation. I am looking good and feeling confident thanks to Mary's creative styling skills.

I saw Mary today. I walked into this salon for an all over highlight and cut. I had specific pictures of what I wanted and told her I was a hair stylist myself. She worked on me for a bit and then rinsed me. I let her know what toner I usually use and she said, “I don’t usually do toners.” I asked her to please time my hair to the desired tone I asked for and she said she didn’t have that toner. She then toned it with something else. Then she trimmed my hair and asked if I wanted my hair round brushed. I told her that I wear it curly and dry it with a diffuser. She said, “I don’t have a diffuser.” So, I asked her to just dry it. I left there with wet hair. I paid $165 for this service today and left unsatisfied. I would not recommend her to anyone. It is unfortunate that it is expected to pay high prices for a service, but not expected to receive good service and the end result we are attaining to in return. If I owned this salon, I would definitely look into what my employees were doing!

PLEASE, do yourself a favor and choose one of the many other salons in the area. I enlisted them to have my wedding hair done, the one day a girls hair should look great. I wanted to have my hair dyed just a bit darker than my natural color and have extensions installed. Courtney was supposed to be my stylist- she never showed up. So the manager directed me to their other "best" color stylist. Turned out to be the inexperienced step daughter of the manager. She ruined my hair. Not just color- it was falling out, and fading before my wedding. All I see when I look at my wedding photos is this disaster on my head. She charged me for 3 boxes of extensions and only bought 2. She left the dye on my roots too long so that they were fire engine red and the rest a blotch of two other colors, some not even dyed. The extensions were falling out the same day. She did come to fix them the night before I left for my wedding, I had to call the owner to help- and she sent the same girl Gabby who had already made a mess of me to continue the trend. She attached the extensions to too little of hair on this last time, maybe out of anger hat I called her boss what else was I to do!?!.... So when the extensions continued to fall out- they took large clumps of my hair with them from all over my head. It will take years to repair the damage to my hair from her dye job and poor extension installation. I guess $400 doesn't buy much at this salon...

Jamie is a very talented hair stylist. I've known her for years and she specializes in haircuts. Her color comes out great too! Highly recommended and nice salon atmosphere.

Mary was extremely professional! I can't remember the last time I was this satisfied with my hair cut and color. The interior of the salon was also very inviting and tastefully decorated. I've found my new spot!

Yesterday was my first visit at salon 58 and I couldn’t have been anymore impressed . It was gorgeous on the inside and very clean . The decorations inside are so pretty , such a nice atmosphere to be in . The girl who did my eyebrows was named Morissa and she was absolutely amazing , very professional and did the best job anyone has EVER done on my brows . Will definitely be a regular of this salon from now on
