Leslea is absolutely amazing! I was in absolute need of a haircut after two years of ignoring it, and specifically called and asked for someone who specializes in curls and fine/textured hair because I have a pretty specific hair type that not many people are familiar with. The receptionist recommended Leslea so I made an appointment for that day. When I got there, she was welcoming and easygoing which helped me to stop being nervous. I told her what I was looking for with photos, and she gave me exactly what I wanted while putting my fine/thin/curly hair into account! She treated me like a best friend as well, I’ve never had such a great time than I did today with her, and I’m absolutely in LOVE with my hair. She even encouraged me to ask to change things after styling it which was so nice, and after she cut shorter layers and restyled it I looked even more amazing!!! Leslea even taught me how to train my cowlick for my bangs and told me what products I should order online for the humidity on my fine hair. She 100% has a new regular customer in me!! The place is the tiniest bit confusing to get to but the receptionist was super clear in directing me to the elevator and I was able to get there super easily afterwards. I’ve never found a good place in Hawaii until today. Truly deserves the #1 it has on Yelp!!!Services: Haircut

Salon 808 is a special place to have your hair done. The owner Hanalei is a person that feels for those in need. He provides services for those in need of a wig due to treatment of chemo. He has a heart of Gold. Everyone feels they are treated as friends. You will not be disappointed w kindness. Give it a try.

Jana is the "woman!" I don't like visiting other barbers outside my own in Colorado Springs, but my hair was getting out of control. She did an impeccable job, accompanied by her delightful and engaging personality. If I were to stay, she'd be my barber going forward.

Hanalei and Julie are amazing!!! They made me feel safe with their Covid-19 preventative measures. They were professional and kind. I came here to purchase 2 wigs and they did not disappoint. My hair loss was caused by chemotherapy and Salon808 was highly recommended. Julie helped me pick out wigs and Hanalei cut and styled it. Their prices are reasonable and I would recommend them to everyone.

Hands down one one the best salon in the 808.they really bring out the full experience in getting your hair done professionally, from the time you come on in your being greeted to the warmest of smiles and truly friendly face. Having your hair started with a most relaxing wash of shampoo then rinse . The wash almost guarantee puts sleep. I love the full attention they give to their clients.

Louie is such a talented guy. he did a wonderful job with my kids and made them feel so comfortable the whole time. I highly recommend him. The whole place is really inviting and friendly. It was a pain to find the first time I went, but I'm so glad I found it.

Upscale salon, centrally located, easy accessible parking & amazing staff. Uncle Hanalei is fantastic! An experienced "pro" and definite "class act". Fortunate to be a client of his! Salon is clean & is one of the most reputable in the business 30+ years!. Definitely a recommend to you all!
