I've been going to Salon Caton for more than a year. Great spot for Cantonese-Chinese food. Really tasty and fresh. Comfortable location, affordable prices. The only thing that still bothering me, is the service. There is a lack of costumer service, they need to organize better the way they serve people and train their employees in order to provide a good service.

Listen, this is the best Cantonese/Chinese food I've ever had in the USA. My hubby is from NYC and he agrees! We had the salt and pepper pork, sweet n sour shrimp, Singapore noodles, Honey Garlic Chicken & House special fried rice. It was delicious! The only Cantonese I've ever tasted that came close was in Jamaica at a restaurant called Golden Dragons many moons ago. 10 thumbs up!

I love this place! Cantonese style food prepared fresh. Excellent eggrolls, dampler plate, Ginger beef, corn cream soup, vegetables....plus excellent attention. They have 40+ in restaurant experience in Venezuela.

I realize I'm in the minority here, but I really felt the food here was very poor quality. This is at best a basic take out restaurant. The Egg Drop soup felt like it came from an envelope with a little bit of egg thrown in for good measure. It wasn't the worst I've had, but it wasn't good either. The Hot and Sour soup was just a mess, way too many ingredients in there. The fried dumplings were overfried and dry. I've had frozen dumplings from Trader Joes that have tasted way better than this. The Yeung Chow Fried Rice with Shrimp, Pork and Peas was the worst dish of the evening. Fried white rice, with little pieces of dried pork and baby shrimp that you would have found in a 1970s version of a shrimp salad. Imagine a big, beautiful prawn that has been sauteed in sesame oil and garlic, infused with a citrus blend and a heavenly aroma, with a slighly firm texture and tantalizing crunchy tail. Now think of the EXACT opposite. No flavor to this dish whatsoever, it honestly tasted like it was something from yesterday's buffet line. Dried out like it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours and then doctored up with the baby shrimp. This is the kind of restaurant that you can probably order a decent Sweet and Sour type dish, or Honey Garlic something or other so as to disguise the poor quality of the food. To be fair, this is the case with most Chinese Take Out restaurants, which for the most part are of very poor quality. So, in essence, this is your standard take out Chinese Restaurant. Low quality, cheap (ish), and 'plentiful' (meaning lots of old dried out rice).
