This place is classic! I always make time to go for a walk out to the waterline or the few points of interest in the area. The smell and flies in the summer are not my favorite but nothing I can’t handle.
I wish someone would put more picnic tables, grass, walkways, and sitting area so that it could be enjoyed. Maybe the city could buy it and make it nice for an afternoon by the lake.
First visiting there,the vast land is nice, just ran into a couple of birds buried in the salt.
Interesting place where you can access the Salt Lake and get close to the selfish layer.
We went for a drive and thought it would be cool to check out Saltair. There weren't very many other people out there. The kids thought it was cool. I was glad that there were no bugs.
We thought this was a state park! When we got there lots of people were out enjoying the beautiful sunset and wading into the salt lake. Great place to get a glimpse of the moutains and water.
Just noticing how this building reminds me of the mosque in Moroni on Comoros Island off the east coast of Africa. Interesting.
