Casey and Gianni spent time walking me through their shop and answered all my questions before they got started. I visited a couple other shops that just felt like production shops pumping out product in quantity. You can tell Casey and Gianni love what they do and care about their work quality and making customers happy. I called several companies in the area to bring my vision of this car to life. Casey was the first one that stopped me and said “we want to do this car”! Everyone else said they wouldn’t know how to take on the project and it would be a lot of work! Casey and Gianni absolutely killed it. Their attention to detail, their willingness to do whatever it took, their enthusiasm and their hard work just made this an insane experience for me. Casey af SMW did a fantastic job on my car. He has extensive experience with exactly the kind of wrap that I wanted and applied it beautifully for a totally fair price. Recommended a couple other things to improve the look even further. Definitely encourage anyone looking to make their car a little more unique to give SMW a call!

As a person who heavily relies on online reviews and sometimes word of mouth, I was pretty shocked to have a bad experience with these guys because I heard good things both online and from a friend. Here is the gist of it – poor installation, left a mess in the car, some lies and lots of excuses from Casey. I was in the market for window tint for my commuter vehicle. My friend told me about Salty Motor Works and that she got a deal through Groupon. I checked their online reviews and called them up to ask some questions. The person who answered didn’t give me any info, he just said, “We will explain everything when you come in”. That should have been a red flag. I went ahead and bought the Groupon which did not saying anything about % of the tint, which made me think there were no restrictions. I wanted to get 5% in the back and 43% legal limit in the front. When I showed up, Casey said that the deal is only for something like 40% back and 50-60% in the front don’t remember the exact %. I felt cheated because they did not add that in the fine print on Groupon, and the guy on the phone would not tell me. If I knew better, I would have walked out and gotten my refund. Casey then explained something like, “we can’t put anything darker in the front because it is illegal” ironically, I saw a few cars with darker than legal front tint the next time I came back. They talked me into “upgrading” to carbon tint as well. They were closing early that day, and I couldn’t pick up before they close, so I was stupid enough to pay them up front. When I came to pick up the car, I was very upset with its condition. Headrests were on the floor, tint scraps all over the car, soapy water mark all over the car I just washed the car, bubbles, and the front window tint were installed crooked. It seemed like a high school kid did the job. I had to negotiate on the phone, and THEN bring it in to negotiate again. Casey refused to correct the problem, saying that is just how it is, and the tint is printed from a computer, it will still be crooked if they reinstall it. REALLY? You can’t lie up the tint to the windows? Their foreman actually sided with me and said they would fix one of the windows kudos to him. This is when I saw multiple cars in the parking lot with very dark front tint, and realized they DO put darker tint in the front. Casey was just making excuses like other reviewers have said. With the poor experience and even worse excuses lies, I cannot recommend these guys in good conscience. I suggest going to Envision in Murray, or Aztek Auto glass in west Salt Lake. I have been to them before and I should have gone to one of them again. I was trying to save money and I learned my lesson.

Casey did such an amazing job on my calipers/rims, wrapping pieces on my front grill, and window tint on my other car. He worked with me from the color selection process to making sure everything looked perfect in the end. The quality of his work is top notch.

My wife finally got a deal and I had no idea because it was for a Christmas gift. I am highly pleased and always suggest Salty Motor Works to all my friends & family. Update: Salty Motor Works stands behind their work! I am grateful to the owner Casey for working with our family car. I had the tint done in December of last year and a few months later there was little bubbles showing up. I called them and they stand behind their "lifetime tint" I had to show them where the bubbles were at and then schedule a time come in which was a little bit frustrated due to the fact this is the only car I can drive due to my medical condition but it looks fabulous now!

These guys are awesome. Scheduling a appointment over the phone was simple and pain free. Casey and his staff were professional and knowledgeable. The SunTek Film they offer is one of the highest rated on the market and offered at a reasonable price. Ultra prompt and meticulous service. I definitely recommend you make Salty Motor Works your cars first and only destination for cosmetic and aftermarket needs.
