Salvatore's

The food was way more American than Italian and very heavy on the salt. We came on a Sat night but it wasn't busy at all. They charged 20% for service fees for a party of 3 so make sure to take a second look at your bill.

Very nice Italian restaurant in the heart of the Theater District. I ordered a meatball flatbread which I devoured. Despite copious amounts of olive oil and toppings, the crust remained rigid and supportive. Very strong flavor overall. The only drawback to Salvatore's is the proximity to the subway tunnels, which makes the restaurant shake every few minutes.

Had great lunch time service at the Bar. The waitress made two excellent recommendations... Scallops in a Limoncello cream sauce and the Lobster and Shrimp ravioli in a vodka sauce. Both were excellent. I really enjoyed enjoyed the arugula and roasted tomatoes on the pasta. Get bread to mop the sauce!

The food is nice. But the service is AWFULL!! The place was pretty empty and we got the menus like 10 mn later, because I asked for it ... The food take so long too. Also I feel mad when they already charged without ask me 20% for the service. I really understand that tips are so important for the people who work in restaurants. And I am glad to tip for a good service and today wasn't that case.

Salvatore's has the best flatbread I have ever had in my life. I am a huge fan of the sausage and ricotta flatbread, it is always cooked to perfection and tastes absolutely amazing. This is a great place to go before seeing a show at the Boston Opera House as it is right next to it! The staff is always so helpful and friendly and make each visit an overall wonderful experience.

We sat at the bar since we didn't have a reservation. The bartender was great! The pizza delish

This place was so good! They found a table for us in a rush hour for a quick dinner, food was delicious. My risotto was the best I have ever tried. The waiter was very friendly.

Wow. This place is amazing. My family and I came here twice during our 5 day stay in Boston. The first time, we went for lunch and ordered dessert. They did not have the dessert we ordered, and so they treated us to an array of other desserts on the menu. The dessert chef even apologized personally we took a picture with him. It was wonderful. We went back for dinner a few days later and got the same waitress Erin. Again, great service. Their menu is unique, delicious American-Italian food. I highly recommend their pizzas, black and blue salad and tiramisu.

The food was good, my fettuccine Alfredo was top marks! But the service was lacking finesse to a "nicer quality" restaurant. If they get the staff up to speed with high quality service, this place would be a must go! So go for the food.

Went in for lunch, there was no wait and my food came right out. Sometimes with fish and chips it can be greasy or have a weird batter to fish ratio but this was good.
