Everything I needed I got from this shop! It’s complete and service is great! Got an acoustic guitar, a guitar case, guitar stand, music stand, and a pop and rock instrumental solos book!

Dana was so helpful and didn’t put the rush on me even though the store was closing in 12 minutes. He had great advice, was personable, and I went home with a awesome guitar. I enjoyed my time at the store and look forward to going back throughout my stay here in NYC.

There are a large varieties of instruments and accessories. I had fun exploring there. Service quality varies depend on sections. Some are good as other reviewers said, but some others are just okay. In general it is a good music store to visit

found the perfect gift for my little sister here. Thank the Lord! Everyone here was super friendly, knowledgable and down to earth. They have a great selection, plus I noticed they also offer classes, books, accessories etc. Glad I turned my head to notice this shop! Highly recommend anyone to come here :3

Sam Ash is a great store. A New York classic that we should all support. They have a huge selection of music equipment and stay current with the times. They also have old, valuable instruments. Great for accessories. Have had a clarinet repaired there twice very successfully. Great sales people too.

Great service — easy return of a pricey guitar. Got to store 15 mins before opening and they let me in from the cold. Nice people!
