Sam's Hardwood Floors

Sam is an artist. There are lots of people who say they do hardwood floor installation. Some of them might even be craftsmen. And a very, very few craftsmen could be thought of as artists. And that’s Sam. We added hardwood in several rooms and had to blend to match existing 30 yr old oak hardwood. You absolutely can’t tell where the old and the new meet. Sam said he chose Southern Red Oak over Northern Red Oak because he felt its tone would best match our existing floor. Who thinks it through like that? Its perfect. Our floors are a showpiece. The work was on time, on budget plus great communication with Danielle and Sam. And, they are genuinely nice folks and obvioudly proud of their work. Just hire them… there's no better.

We moved into a foreclosed home eight years ago. Only recently did we get the money put aside to refinish the floors! We got a few bids. Though Sam’s wasn’t the cheapest, we could feel his love for woodworking and his dedication for the craft come through when we met with him. Also, his bid included one extra layer of finish than the other bids. We are so glad we went with Sam’s Hardwood Floors! Both he and Danielle were easy to get a hold of, answered my many questions, and left us with a beautiful final project.

We hired Sam's for two flooring jobs. The first was for a waterproof laminate on our bottom floor to replace the floors because of flooding. Danielle scheduled the bid and she was super helpful and knowledgable. She pretty much held my hand through the whole project. The floors were installed so well that when I decided to put down flooring in my garage to convert to an art studio, I called Sam's again! Again, seamless and beautiful. Sam's partnered with another contractor to install floor heating. I'm super happy with the final product and highly recommend Sam's. I am going to hire them next when I get the funds to refinish my hardwoods on my main level. I will add photos at some point. I'm super pleased with everything.

Sam did a great job on our 600 ft.² of oak floor space. The floors look amazing and it was done without much of a hassle at all. He and his wife Danielle are great working partners that made this an easy process. The floors are perfect! Now we’re going to enjoy them.

Our floors look fantastic!! We had about 500 square feet of new red oak installed and about 500 square feet of existing red oak refinished. You would never know where the new and old meet! Sam's Hardwood Floors installed hardwood flooring in our living room and refinished the existing hardwood floors in our entry/kitchen/dining areas. This company is highly professional, extremely responsive, and their work is first-rate. This summer we were struggling to get other refinishers to even call us back. Fortunately, Sam was recommended by a friend. Sam stopped by the following weekend to inspect the floors and provide a quote. He was knowledgeable, experienced, punctual and friendly. We ended up choosing Sam to refinish our floors and we're glad we did so. Sam refinished about 1,000 sq ft of red oak in the living and dining room. We had previously pulled up some old nasty carpet to find the floors were pretty ugly underneath - paint, gouges, staple holes, yellow and black staining, etc. They looked brand new when he was finished.
