Sam's Shoe Repair

Sam is the best! I used to be an accessories editor at a top fashion magazine and I’ve amassed quite a shoe collection over the years. I’ve been to every cobbler in town and Sam ranks with the best but at a more affordable price point. There is no shoe or bag I wouldn’t trust him with. Not to mention he’s a pleasure to work with. Sam is always lovely and welcoming. I’ve been a client for a long time and I promise you can’t go wrong entrusting your shoes, both luxury and everyday styles, to Sam. He’s top notch.

Sam was such a disappointment! We spoke about what was needed. It seemed so simple. Please put 8 NEW Rivets on my handbag. Replace 4 Old Studs and put on 8 New Rivets. Sam left the 4 OLD studs and put on 4 NEW Rivets and tried to convince me they would not be noticed or the work was too intense. A small job, yet enough to make me not do business with him again. Integrity is everything. He was not true to his word and he displayed very poor work ethic.

This place is great, but I'm sad to say that I haven't been in two years. I have moved to two neighborhoods since and haven't found anybody as good as this place. Re-sole leather-soled shoes like a pro, prices are reasonable, takes credit cards. I miss Sam's.

One hour turnaround on a high heel broken by an escalator, like new 16 bucks.
