This was a great experience. The manager on duty was fantastic. He took a minute to show me the back room when it was slow even though I came on a Tuesday and there were no tours running. Had a flight of amazing beer with a pretzel and enjoyed the large patio. A must see when you're in the Boston Area!!!
Had an incredibly enjoyable tour; Shane made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the tour; not for the education about the science of brewing, but for the fun that brewing beer is all about! This is a fun tour that will completely satisfy the basic bits of information that you need to appreciate that which makes a quality craft beer!
Brewery was neat to see. I am a huge fan of Sam Adams and Boston Beer Co. I will conitue to be loyal to them. But, I was a little disappointed in the tour. Especially since it was my birthday gift from my wife. The tour was educational but, not very exciting. Saw very little of the brewery. I was hoping too but, sadly we did not. The tour guide was funny and when you did hear him was educational. Too many people in the group. I personally think he over served himself as well. I have been on many brewery tours and this was really worst one on I have been on. But, will continue to drink Sam Adams because they really do make great beer. This rating was based on the tour that we went on and not the great beer they make.
Fun tour to take. The price is totally reasonable because the beer you try during the tour and the beer glasses you get are worth the entrance fee. Also when testing the new type of beer and expressing your opinionbeing a guinea pig makes you feel important...you contributing into beer culture and development;
Pretty amazing brewery in boston !! We did the brewery tour and the guides were amazing! We got one free beers as well apart from the ones provided in the tour ! The tap room has good options for food and the beers obviously. A good place for beer drinking people! If you wanna enjoy the Boston vibe and beer flights !
Once we found it it is tucked away amongst a residential area we took the $10 tour. It was really informative and tasted 3 different beers. The tour guide Shane made the experience by keeping us laughing. Small brewery and tour took about an hour.
Must visit. Great tour with great drinks. It's interesting to learn the history of how certain beers are made, as well as the history of Sam Adams. While it's not as good as a Samuel Jackson, it will still get you drunk. !
Pretty good brewery tour. It's cheap, relatively quick 30ish minutes you get 3 samples including an experimental beer. The gift shop has canned beer, and all the normal gift shop merchandise and it's reasonable. The Taphouse has a wide selection of beer and a few slushies. We just looked at the quick food and the chips and cheese were very good.
I want able to do a tour and just drank in the taproom. However, I find the beer remarkable, especially their fall O-Yam beer. The taproom itself has a good deal of indoor and outdoor seating. The outside area has fireplaces. I was surprised to find out that this isn't a 100 year old brewery but instead started in the 80s.
Great selection of beer. Love the ambience. We got two flights of beer. My favorite one was Zombie from the outer space. The food options are very limited and mostly packaged food. They could expand more finger food options. Overall it’s a great place to hangout with friends and get some beers
