I’ve tried to get take out several times and give this location the benefit of the doubt but they always seem to have poor customer service and take way too long . I know there’s always a line so I order ahead . I ordered at 1005 and left there at 1050 with my food . When I mentioned I called in the person at the register said it would be better online . HOW ??? It wasn’t even a large order . 2 burritos, fries and a Chile relleno .I waited 20 minutes after I got there and everyone got their food before me . Also the hot is barely spicy and the burrito was mostly beans and no potato or chicharron .
Genuinely disappointed. I was looking forward to Mexican food and ordered the cheese enchiladas. Also no agua fresca? Odd for a Mexican restaurant. Anyway, the sauce tasted store bought and there was no ounce of spice. Just bland.
It's very ironic that their motto is "faithfully authentic", when the food here has absolutely no resemblance to Mexican food. Bland meat, oversize store bought tortillas, tomato sauce salsa perhaps more fitting on top of a pizza?, very strange other sauces. My Tostitos salsa last night tasted better than this. We ordered two things and they did not give us half the order, and the restaurant was completely empty. I am honestly not sure how this place gets as many stars as it does. Don't come here if you are looking for genuine Mexican food, you'll get better food at the dive bar. Parking: They had parking.
I ordered online to skip the excessively long lines. The sign clearly states to give your name at the window. I was loudly, rudely and abruptly told to get in line and wait. I am considering whether to even go there again. My food was cold by the time i got it. I have been going there for 20 years and this is not the first time we've had issues, this is the first time we've ever had a kitchen worker treat me like I'm stupid for following their signage.
I've been eating here for as long as they've been open at this location, and it's one if my favorite of them all. The service is always as quick as they can make it. And the consistency of the food has continued to be awesome through out the years. I've been to several other locations and it just isn't the same. So I want to thank the owner and the the staff for keeping the same. It's always a great place for great food and service.
Fast, consistent, and classic the Santiago’s we all know and love great location. Avoid the mornings usually packed with everyone trying to snag the breakfast burritos you can’t blame them they are great. Little bit older of a location and limited seating.
Needed some breakfast burritos before GABF. I had heard these were delicious, and I was not disappointed! Exceptionally tasty, fast service and I was shocked at how cheap they were!! If you're hungry, better go with 2...Definitely will be going back for more.Food: 5/5
All was good. My French fries were soggy but that all. No tables were setup inside so we had to eat outside and the tables out there are in REALLY bad shape. Other then that all was good.Food: 5/5
Great customer service but the smallest burritos on the planet. I don't like this location at all. If you're willing to drive another mile the one on federal gives you more bang for your buck!
We used to live in Golden and the Santiago’s there is excellent. This one is so weeeaaaakkk in comparison! We’ve gotten breakfast burritos six times since moving back downtown and 5/6 they’ve been average at best, gross at worst. Just got two this morning, asked for extra green chile inside and I got a 100% meatless breakfast burrito with hardly any chile that was made entirely of cheese at one end. Do better
