I dont know who these people think they are fooling with these ridiculous prices but after being away for a few years, I decided to give them another chance. I live in Coatesville and really didn’t want to drive all the way to Philly right before a snow storm but when I tell you I absolutely made the drive after going into this place. I walked back to where the wigs are sold only to find several busted, synthetic wigs that looked a whole lot like somebody's Grandmother wore them to church, fell out at the altar, rolled around on the ground and returned them. I figured maybe they’re some kind of theft deterrent, So I decided to ask for help with a few behind the counter that looked decent not even anything special just decent. The majority of the wigs were a mix of synthetic and human hair only they were being sold as fully human and looked old. The wigs that WERE fully Human were being sold for three to four times as much as they’re worth as if we women of color haven’t been doing this all of our lives and can’t spot the difference. Which is why I believe they don’t allow you to feel the product and don’t accept returns. I was surprised to see that a hair store in a city full of women of color was empty on a Saturday afternoon but it definitely should have been the first red flag. Even then I figured ok, I’ll just grab some clip ins and do a leave out, I looked all over the store and couldn’t find them. So I walk to the front of the store and ask the woman if she has any and she proceeds to lead me to a side aisle behind the counter where I can’t even see what she’s reaching for. She asked me what color I want and I tell her and then she asks me what length. I tell her well I’m not sure yet I’d like to SEE the different textures you have. She proceeded to hold one pack out that had six tracks in it, that of course I couldn’t feel for quality and wanted $150 +for it and that was the cheapest. It takes at least two for a decent leave out. I chuckled and walked off wandering aimlessly around the store trying to figure out why I’m even in here at this point. I go back to where the wigs are and there’s a sweet older lady asking if she can see a kinky twist wig that clearly was not human and could not have been more than 10 inches long. The lady asked how much it cost and the woman working there proceeded to tell her it was $150. The ladycustomer looked at me, I looked at her and we had a whole conversation without ever saying a word. I love us she then proceeds to tell the lady/owner or whoever she is that that exact same wig is on Amazon for $40.00. They then tried to sell me a basic 18” lace front for $400.00 another for 350.00 and I won’t even touch on how she blatantly exaggerated the length and flipped the price tag over on one that clearly said $20.00 and told me it was $150. I’m not certain but I get the feeling this woman just picked a number and went with it. No research on length, quality nothing. Yes. It gave me a good laugh on the way out because I was able to drive to Philly and get what I wanted and needed but it saddens me to see these people move into our neighborhoods and blatantly take advantage of us all ESPECIALLY those who may not be able to just up and drive that far out for such basic things. I think it’s despicable and disgusting and I believe 100% that they know exactly what they are doing. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money.
Hair supply store located on route 30 in coatesville. Just a quick reminder to bring quarters with you for meter parking .25cents for 10min. The store itself has a variety of hair supplies. I happened to buy pre-stretched braiding hair 36", four bundles in one pack for $7.99 so I can't complain on the price. Along with some hair beads and barrettes for my two daughters, which again wasn't a bad price at .99cents a pack with a variety of colors. The sales woman who rang my order up was polite and friendly. I began to tell her that this was my first time stopping by and she replied kindly with hopes of me returning. I do recommend this hair supply store based on cleanliness, reasonable prices according to what I purchased, and friendly staff.

I love Sara's, they have everything I need for my beauty needs. They have a huge inventory of lashes and all the accessories that go along with them. They have the largest inventory of press on nails that I have seen in this area. They have a lot of drawstring ponytails and the prices are excellent. This is the only place that I can find the hair color that I use. The staff is very helpful, if I have questions or suggestions they are happy to answer them or find someone that can answer them. They also have a large inventory of gold plated jewelry very nice prices I've used it often and it hasn't turned. They just have everything you can think of for your beauty needs, PERIODT
A large retail operation, neatly organized and clean and packed to the rafters with a huge variety of merchandise. I went there to purchase hair for my wife's braids. I knew nothing of these matters so the owner, a lovely Korean woman who took the time to answer my questions and sell me the proper products.
Employees really know they stuff. Able to help u fulfill any style ur looking for prices are about average. A very large selection of all types of hair products. May have to put quarters in meter depending on time of day you go. You can get a ticket for not doing so.
Let me tell you about this store . Do I called them one day to see their prices because I love my extensions but I’m sick of driving to dealware when I live in west chester. Anyways.... the guy I think his name is saint told me to come in and check out the prices . So I did ... well long store short ! THIS STORE IS AMAZINGGGGGG!!!!!!!! I haven’t went to Delaware since!!!! I love this store if you live close to coatesville or w.e come here their absolutely amazing I’m actually getting ready to head over their now !! Keep up the good work and I hope my review gets people in the door because your the bomb and the nicest people I’ve ever met
Prices are not marked I feel like they uncharged on old hair and take hair put packs to sell half pack of hair to make you buy more. STAY AWAY I BEEN SHOPPING THERE FROM WHEN RUSTY'S WAS ALIVE AND THE WHOLE VIBE HAS CHANGED.
So excited they are finally open again. Prices are great tons of supply and right around the corner, I can always spend more than expected when. I go in there!
Horrible. Ive been going there since they came to coatesville and the service is terrible id rather drive to philly and be treated as a respected customer. I ask the chinese girl for help in the middle of her helping me another customer comes and asks for help she literally walks away n helps the other woman nit saying hold on and continue the situation with me and thats not the first time its been numerous times me and my people go in and spend more tgan 5 dollars in there ask questions shell sit there and poifnt not get up and show you but gesture over there and were like where over there can mean anywhere. I hope another hair store bless coatesville cause this isnt the one sincerely ki'esha
