Sarku Japan

I came to order the sushi rolls and was offered an up charge to make it a combo. I loved the idea and was very pleased. I sometimes visit this location because I work close to this particular location. There's no consistency when it comes to what's allowed to be offered and what is not, because sometimes I'm told I can get the combo and sometimes I'm told that I cannot. I need clarification so that everyone is on the same page. It seems like o only have this issue with one particular employee but I don't want to get anyone in trouble because maybe he just doesn't know. It works be great if that were a permanent menu selection.

Used to come to this restaurant often on lunch break from the office. Unfortunately the costumer service isn't what it used to be. I went with a co-worker to get take out, and we were just one order apart, yet the attendant Glenda apparently must be under strict orders to serve online orders in front of walk-ins. The result was a wait of over 25 minutes while people kept coming in and picking up food. Finally when I was served, came back to the office, my chicken teriyaki had shrimp in it. So, if you don't mind waiting and having bad service, then go there, otherwise, just go somewhere else! I know I will. Fuji, in Beltsville is way better anyways.

I have never seen a location outside the mall, so I figured, why not try this physical location? I tried the beef and chicken platter, and both were tasty. Compared to the mall locations, you get bigger portions here. The soda machine is available for customers so that you can get unlimited refills. For cheap eating, and comparing it to the mall, I recommend coming here. I'd go back.

Quick, tasty and a decent alternative to some fast food. It’s like a Japanese answer to Panda Express. It was near my hotel and there was seating outside which made it a plus in these times. I see a lot of negative reviews about the “older Japanese lady” and while I was there I saw her cheerfully greet what seemed like her regulars and remember their orders. I got a teriyaki bento box and was happy with my order.

The food here was horrible. I ended up throwing it all away. The lady that owns this place has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I WILL NEVER RETURN. THIS PLACE WAS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Good location, staff was very nice the food was good.

Been here before and never had this experience..Went in this afternoon for lunch got chicken&shrimp w/ noodles.Within 2mins I was called up front to get my food..I was like damn that was fast.Not really paying attention to the cooks.I got to work 5mins away from Sarku begin to eat my food and the noodles tasted as if they were being SOAKED in water all day long.I mean it was awful down to the teriyaki chicken and shrimp.How can you go wrong with something so simple?!?!.Noodles was lukewarm.Which mean they were cooked earlier and just served when the customer order..Unacceptable wouldn't be back again.Will take my business to QUICKWAY.

They cheat you on the portion size and they DO NOT honor the punch card like all the other locations. The manager is rude. White Oak Location is WAY Better!!!Food: 1/5

This restaurant is always so clean and neat. The food always smells delicious. It's all so infectious, which makes my mouth water.Food: 5/5
