Good DVD selection I mostly go for seasonal decor because we lost all our Christmas, Halloween, and holiday decor so we have to start up our collection from scratch. I like how big it is but i do not recommend going in the afternoon to closing it's honestly a mess. Parents just let their kids use the toy isle as a playground. I understand the employees not picking up they are probably short handed and there's no point if it's gonna get messed up in one hour. Parents need to pay attention to their kids this isn't a playground, employees arent your house maid.
We could not love Savers more! The best variety of treasures you never knew you needed. But great quality merchandise is also donated and placed on the shelves. Clothes that we might need for vacationing somewhere cooler, to toys and books. I feel better buying second hand.
This Savers is the larger of the ones I’ve seen. Tons of stuff to browse and potentially purchase. If you ask me, this is where younger folks and new to the island folks should come to get their kitchens started. Great deals on all that stuff. Wasn’t overcrowded, was clean when we went, and it seems they are always adding new items to the racks. Check ‘em out.
Savers is basically a thrift store. Free membership includes 25% off. And color tags of a certain type are 50 % off inquire at the front when you enter. Other than awesome deals on many items, though not all, one suggestion is that u really have to plug everything in or open to make sure all the items are included. I have bought enough things that are missing important parts or just don't work whatsoever. There are a couple plugs available. Generally though i get many items for ridiculous prices its legit.
Huge selection on Clothing / Bags / Nick Nacks.. Exc so much more
I absolutely love thrift stores. I have been to them in almost every state. And I know prices fluctuate and some stores do a great job pricing. I did find a few great things. But the clothing section is so overpriced. They had 15.99 on walmart sports bras. 24.00 on target dresses. 24.99 and 14.99 on SHEIN dresses. How do you justify having the racks so full that you can’t look through the items of DONATED items. Perhaps if you put normal thrift store prices on the clothes they would get sold. A billion dollar company with a wealthy CEO. A for profit company based off free donations that people can’t even afford to shop at. With very little actually going back to charity. How about giving some of that overpriced free clothing inventory to the growing houseless population here in Hawaii. It’s a shame people with companies like this don’t do more to help. It’s a shame when you see people holding up clothes to buy for their kids and put it back because it’s priced too expensive. But Mr Savers CEO sleep tight in your warm house tonight with your good clothes and new shoes. I’m sure your belly and bank account are full.
Just found out that my favorite Savers location would be moving to King St. I feel bad for the employees who would have to commute far. The staff and management there are so friendly and helpful. I always find treasures and lots of good quality vintage goods!!!
I like savers bc of their large area of home stuff and weird crafting odds and ends. What I do NOT like is how they group things for sale. I need ONE set of measuring cups, but every bag has 4 sets. Here's half the set of containers, here's the lids in a different bag. And their clothing prices are just plain disrespectful. You want twelve dollars for a used shirt from shein? From Ross? From h&m? No ma'am. I swear whomever sets the prices must do it before their meds kick in because they are tripping.
We experienced discrimination tonight from 2 workers. I understand they deal with all types of people, but questioning our character and making wrongful assumptions at self checkout....whaaaaaat?! Discrimination is discrimination, no excuses. We left angry, upset, and disappointed. Terrible worst experience yet. We donate here all the time; train your workers to be better and say no to discrimination.
Hello! I just want to let you know that your prices are ridiculously high for a thrift shop! The items were donated by kind hearted people, and you guys are abusing the profit!!! How can you sell an item for $100 when it was donated?! It shouldn’t be that high, for a bird cage. You can buy now on online for $25, kitchen ware are $3.99 or more, when it should only be .99 cents. Thrift shops are made for people that does not have enough money, to be able to afford to get things that we need without spending regular store prices, yet you guys prices are 3x-10x more than regular store it’s absolutely ridiculous. I will also be contacting the corporate about this.
