Saw's BBQ

My husband and I have been to a lot of BBQ restaurants and haven’t found one that we really like yet. Saw’s made our BBQ dreams come true! I had the pulled pork platter w/ Mac n cheese and coleslaw. The pork was so moist and tender and the best I’ve had since living in Alabama. The Mac n cheese tasted like real and homemade Mac n cheese. So much texture and gooeyness to it. The coleslaw has an awesome taste to it. My husband ordered the chicken platter w/ Mac n cheese and potato salad. I tried the chicken and again so moist and tender. We also ordered a chili baker that we shared. We split it in half because it was so big and filling. Now we have leftovers for dinner as we couldn’t finish our entrees. We took everything to go and the service was fast. Thanks for making my birthday!

We're visiting the area and was told by some locals that we had to try Saw's if we were looking for BBQ. Of course it was one of the best BBQ spots I've been too. Nice local joint, pork was so tender and flavorful and the chicken was packed with flavor also. We got the Pork Tater and Chicken Tater with a medium side of Mac & cheese. I'm a huge fan of BBQ stuffed potatoes so I was happy that they had a few options on the menu. The Mac & cheese wasn't my favorite, but it was ok. I'm glad we got to stop by and try it out! I used Saw’s for catering a work event and wow! Best BBQ i think I’ve ever had. Every item was a hit, the pulled pork and mac and cheese is especially good. They were also so kind and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!

I have passed by this location quite a few times before I decided to stop here on Thursday afternoon 4/28, The menu is simple and I didn't see the sampler that someone else referred in a previous review. I decided on the smoked chicken sandwich with the white BBQ sauce and paired it with a UFO Georgia peach beer. I skipped the combo because the beer doesn't count towards a combo but I think it should. They have a limited beer selection and there are fountain drinks available along with iced tea. The parking is tricky as Oxmoor road is very busy and backing out of the parking spaces into traffic takes patience. I will have to figure out which location has the sampler because I really want to try it along with the deviled eggs side dish.

You walk up to the counter and order your food, but you can sit in and eat. The servers bring you the food and they made sure we all got our right order. The food was really good for the price and there was a lot of it. The fun part was that you could write on the walls and the decorations were unique.Food: 5/5

Holy moly. The BBQ here is legit and this coming from a Texas BBQ guy. The pork here: pulled pork and ribs is absolutely delicious. The sausage was good. The chicken was okay/dry.

Drove here from GA to have the chicken with the white sauce and it did not disappoint . Ordered the Saw's Sampler EVERYTHING WAS GOOOOOD!!! We sapped the legendary white sauce. My kids loved the ribs so much that we added a half slab....Dine in: Yes

I walked into a flavorful southern wonderland. The staff are very friendly. The food is flavorful and delicious. I highly suggest the banana pudding. Great location, lots of parking, and quick service.

Nice place! Went at about 6.30 on a Saturday night and it was very quiet probably because they close at 8 and this location is nestled nicely in a good neighbourhood. Food was good! I had the ribs plate - you dont choose what sauce comes on top FYI - their BBQ is rather sweeter than Im used too. However really well cooked and seasoned meat, sides were OK but not the best we’ve had. Tried the mac and cheese, potato salad and the coleslaw. Coleslaw was also very sweet and tangy so another heads up! Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat good food. Also great staff at this location! Very nice and attentive.

Some of the best pulled pork I've ever had with a vinegar sauce that ain't too hot, nor too sweet... In my top 3 BBQ places of Bham.
